My husband and I stayed in the suite with 2 balconies and views over the Tamar river. The suite was spacious and very comfortable. Reception staff were amazing and picked up the slack of housekeeping staff who with exception of Thursday didn't do any cleaning or proper service. We had to ask for basic necessities such as toilet paper. This venue deserves a 5 but for being let down by what appears to be lazy housekepping staff who are not doing their job. I would personally sack the weak links because this venue is really fantastic. Thank you to Reception staff, you made our stay fantastic and a pleasure to be there.

Nice hotel situated just outside city centre so very easy walks into the centre and shops. Several easy walks down the riverbanks if you want to go further. There are charges for car parking but you get reduced rates via the hotel. Rooms on the river side are the better ones to stay in as when we looked at one on the roadside, it was quite noise as a busy main road in/out of Launceston. Some rooms were believe are suites with self-catering, others not.

This was our first stay in Launceston and our first stop in Tasmania with my 2 children and we were welcomed very warmly by staff at Peppers Seaport :) upon arrival my children loved the truffles in reception and welcome gift as Accor Plus Gold members. The bottle of wine was also appreciated for me also :) Our room was clean, comfortable and a nice view. I wish we had of booked the sea view rather then city but will keep that in mind for next time. The staff at check in gave us a map of many things to do and the hotel is walking distance from a lovely park and the city. Our room was cleaned and beds made while out during the day which was nice to come back to after a long day of site seeing. Thank you for a wonderful time in Launceston Peppers Seaport, we look forward to visiting again.

First class place, they really look after you and the rooms and views are lovely. The staff were welcoming and really went that bit more to make sure that we had everything we wanted. There are a few waterside bars and restaurants in the immediate facility and the town centre is about a 15 minute walk away. The only mild criticism is that parking is a bit of an issue although even in this respect the staff try to help.

Very disappointing - No hand towels or soap in the room on arrival - late so we made do - but very poor Couch in the Room was stained and grubby as well as the cushions The curtains were torn and dirty No toilet paper left when room made up. Noisy at night
