Arrived to friendly welcome and very helpful arranging supper, a spa session and breakfast. Beautiful wooden building housing reception, restaurant, bistro and Spa. Our lakeside cabin was just that - beautifully furnished with fake fire flowing, books to read in comfortable chairs. Evening meal in the Highland restaurant was one of the best meals we’ve had in Tassie & WA. Staff were really friendly & knowledgeable about the wine choices. Hotel ideally placed for shorter walks and shuttle bus into NP. Weather was perfect for clear views of Cradle Mountain.

My family of four stayed at Peppers Cradle Mountain for three nights in June, booking adjoining Pencil Pine Cabins. Staff were friendly and the booking process smooth. Once here, we were able to park our car at the cabin. The cabins were cute and had an easy to operate gas fireplace that heated the space well (very welcome as it was cold, snowy and wet during our stay) Beds were comfy. The cabins had a little mudroom so we could get our wet gear off before entering our rooms. Bathrooms were basic but still nice. (Tip: if you have a family of similar size and your teenagers don't want to share a bed, tell the hotel in advance that you need the day bed made up as a single bed, as it is depicted in the photo on the hotel website) Breakfast was lovely and served in the restaurant. Otherwise we mostly ate at the tavern (take away possible) with one dinner in the Highlands Restaurant (make sure to book ahead). There was a lot of wildlife on the grounds of the hotel and we were fortunate to see paddymelons, wallabies and several wombats. The entry of the national park and the shuttle bus stop were only a short walk from our cabin. Peppers is a great place to stay when visiting the beautiful Cradle Mountain National Park.

To get the very best Cradle Mountain experience, this is the place to stay. My wife and I stayed at Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge in mid June and had a thouroughly beatiful experience. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent. Our villa, while a bit dated, was totally private and was surrounded by bushland. The resort could do with some capital improvement but it didn't detract from our wonderful time there. We can't wait to return.

This is a place in need of a renovation and some serious competition if it is to remain a going concern. I stayed here 4 years ago and vowed not to return. I had no other choice but to book here with visiting friends from OS because all the other accommodation sites were fully booked. The breakfast offering is a disgrace. You have to book a d if you can only get table after about 8.30 be prepared to eat scrapes. Nothing is replenished. This was the same last time I was here. The prices charged are outrageous. Take a good look at the other comments…….indeed look at the total number of comments and then divide it by the number of dissatisfied clients. Do yourselves a favour read the reviews. I will not recommend nor return.

This is a very well equipped lodge with a big restaurant and bar, very comfortable cabins, a shop and most importantly a huge amount to see and do. You are surrounded by amazing scenery and wildlife and we wished we had more time to spend here to do some of the hikes.
