The hotel listing on booking.com and other sites lists this accommodation as having a restaurant and cafe which it does not! There is an Italian restaurant and cafe outside/next to it but it is not part of the hotel and had limited opening times. There is also no bar as listed in another site. When we asked about this at the reception desk they were clearly well versed seeming to have been asked this many times. The staff were not as all welcoming and just pointed to a leaflet on the desk listing some other places nearby but not really interested at all. The room was very small and noisy sharing the entrance with another room. The balcony was so basic and other guests were smoking so we could not use it. I suggest installing smoke detectors above the balcony door. There was a tea towel but not cloth or dishwashing liquid so what was the point of supplying a tea towel. We were really disappointed since we’ve stayed at other Mantra hotels previously but this one was awful! A motel would’ve had the same if not better facilities but at probably a third of the price. I think most reviews are for apartments and not room only like we had, however you pay a lot more for that and still get no restaurant or bar as listed.

We only advertise that there is a restaurant onsite, and there are indeed two independently operated venues located within the same building as the hotel. While they are not managed by Mantra, they are the restaurants available onsite for guest convenience. Regarding your room, the accommodation type you stayed in does receive daily servicing, and we do have additional amenities such as dishwashing liquid, cloths, tea, coffee, and more available at reception at any time. We’re sorry this was not clearly communicated to you. For the shared entry and balcony smoke issue, we understand how this impacted your stay. Smoking is not permitted on balconies, and we do take action when notified. Your suggestion regarding smoke detectors has been noted. We’re also disappointed to hear that your interaction at reception did not feel welcoming—this is certainly not the standard we strive for, and we will be addressing this with the team. Great location in Port Macquarie

Staff at reception were very helpful and explained how to access the parking and room access. Our modern apartment was two bedrooms and on a higher floor . The ocean view from the apartment was amazing. We like to walk and the location was perfect for us. We did however note the second bathroom and bathroom location to be a little odd. All in all a wonderful stat and we hope to stay again soon,

Die Lage des Hauses am schönsten Strand von Port Macquarie ist schwer zu übertreffen, zumal man in 15 Minuten Fußweg auch in der Ortsmitte ist, wo es Auswahl an Läden und Restaurants gibt. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, alle zum Meer ausgerichtet und mit großen Balkonen. Es handelt sich wie bei allen "Mantra"-Häusern um ein Selbstversorger-Hotel, die Ausstattung dafür einschließlich Waschmaschine und Trockner (1 Wascheinheit für je 2 Zimmer) durchaus ausreichend. Für ein Selbstversorger-Hotel sehr ordentlicher Servive -- jeden Tag kommt jemand mit frischen Handtüchern, den Müll abzuholen, die Kaffeebar aufzufüllen. Kotenloses Parken in der Tiefgarage.

Hotel molto ben organizzato,comodo parcheggio sotterraneo ed ascensore che arriva al piano della camera. Alla reception personale molto gentile. Camera essenziale,pulita con terrazzo protetto sull'oceano. Camere ben insonorizzate.

Ci siamo fermati a Port Macquarie per una notte, alloggiando in questa struttura e si è rivelata un'ottima scelta. In posizione centralissima, l'hotel offre camere con vista sull'oceano davvero molto belle. La qualità del sonno è eccellente e la nostra camera molto bella. Grande pulizia, tutti i confort disponibili, un bel terrazzino chiuso a vetri, da cui guardare l'oceano mentre si sorseggia dell'ottimo prosecco. Un alba magnifica che abbiamo atteso in camera, prima di scendere nella spa dell'albergo, aperta dalle 7.00am alle 10.00pm e ci siamo deliziati con vasca idromassaggio, sauna e piscina, anche in questa parte della struttura, c'era massima pulizia. Il personale è gentilissimo e non c'è alcuna difficoltà nel parcheggiare l'auto. Un'esperienza perfetta, da replicare quanto prima.
