Bad start but okay overall

First issue was hygiene of staff. Lady that served us was very sniffly and kept wiping her nose with her hand. Our twin room wasn’t ready, they had doubles they could put us in, and said they would have a twin ready in about 30mins. (We had no problem as we were early) sniffly lady helped put our luggage in store. Then we went for a walk we were gone about 40mins (timing the walk to the Qantas terminal). On arrival back the sniffly lady had gone and the new lady had a cough. We were given the room keys (with no instructions) retrieved our luggage and went to our room. To find it was a double not a twin. (Travelling with a friend not partner). Called reception and after anther 15 mins was given a twin room. (So called upgrade to airport view room). (We gave ourselves and luggage a thorough sanitise). The room was small but very comfortable for a one night stay. We ate at the restaurant and food and service very good. After testing the walk without luggage the night before we were uncertain if we we would walk. (Paths uneven and covered in water in some spots due to road works and rain.) However the shuttle that started at 5:00 was a little to late for use to get to our 6:05 flight. As it was a taxi was available when we walked out at 4:20 and as it was raining we took the opportunity to use it. (As it is the 5:00 shuttle probably would have been fine as the security and luggage loading didn’t commence until then.). Would be good advice for the motel to tell customers.

This hotel was recommended to us by the flight attendant. We literally walked into it late at night from the airport after having to change to our flight to the next morning. They were super helpful and our newly styled room was immaculate. After breakfast we walked to the airport only to discover I had left my phone charging by the bed! We grabbed a taxi and rang ahead and found our phone waiting at the front desk so all I had to do was run in and and run back to the taxi to get back in time to catch our plane. I was so grateful! Thanks to the front desk for wonderful service!

Short stay, but very suitable

We booked the Mantra at Sydney airport after our international flight was delayed 5 hours and we missed our domestic connection. We simply needed somewhere to sleep and shower. We finally arrived after being awake for 22 hours. The check in was efficient and the room was clean, but compact. The bedside lights did not work, but the rest of the room was in order. We slept well. The bed was comfortable and there was no road noise. I would have liked 2 extra towels, as we were only at the hotel for 8 hours, the towels were still wet when we had our morning shower. Our rate included breakfast which was a buffet. Coffee, juice, toast, eggs, bacon sausage, beans, hash browns etc. If you don't have breakfast included there is a McDonald's and a Krispy Kreme doughnuts next door if you don't want to pay airport prices for breakfast. Taxi to the airport is $20, and there is a taxi waiting out the front continuously. We would stay again if we are travelling through Sydney airport.

Tidy but not great for sleeping given the road noise.

Neat and tidy and convenient to the domestic terminal but we found it difficult to sleep given the noise of cars and trucks (especially braking trucks ) being terribly loud at night. The rooms need a true double glaze with the required 10pms spacings. Perhaps the rooms facing the runway are quieter at night!

El hotel debe de ser bastante reciente, porque todo parece nuevo y recién estrenado. Las habitaciones son amplias y el baño es enorme. Una televisión de gran tamaño adorna todo el conjunto, y la cama es sencillamente espectacular. Si tienes que tomar un vuelo es la opción perfecta, ya que se puede caminar desde el propio hotel a cualquiera de las terminales del aeropuerto de Sydney. Probamos también su restaurante y la comida es deliciosa. La cocina está a la vista y presenta un grado de limpieza y pulcritud espectacular. La atención de todo el personal, desde recepción a los camareros es muy buena, y te hacen sentir como en casa. Volvería sin dudarlo.
