Mantra Frangipani - Broome 4 stelle

Nestled in greenery within walking distance of Cable Beach, Mantra Frangipani provided a spacious cabin with all you needed - kitchen, outdoor shower, laundry facilities and your own BBQ and patio. It really had everything. Staff were excellent and responsive. HIghly recommend for a self contained place to enjoy Broome.

We have stayed at the Mantra Frangipani on three previous occasions over the past 20 years. The location is great. A 20 minute walk to the beach, the bus stops outside and there’s plenty of parking if you have a car. There are also two pools. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa for the first time but the layout and amenities are pretty standard. The outdoor shower is amazing. The villa we had this time was in very poor disrepair, most of the cupboards were warped, damaged and did not close in the kitchen. It was tired and in need of a spruce up.

It’s a bit tired and in need of some loving, but … what a magic place to stay. Located 10 minutes out of the town centre but has a bus stop at the front gate should you not have access to a vehicle. Generous sized bedroom and lounge/kitchen, both with ceiling fans and airconditioners. Kitchen is fitted out with fridge, dishwasher, microwave and cooktop. Also a washer/dryer and laundry trough to use. Your very own barbecue at your front door. Without a doubt though, my favourite part was the shower. If I could have packed that shower up and brought it home with me I would have. Magic! Would definitely stay at the Mantra Frangipani again.

Siamo arrivati a Broome in questo luogo magico. Il resort è costituito da tante camere/appartamento a piano terra. Dal vialetto si accede ad un piccolo portico con tavolo, sedie e divanetto dotato anche di un barbecue. Entrando c’è una zona living con cucina con tutti i confort ( frigorifero, lavastoviglie, microonde e stoviglie) climatizzatore e ventilatori a soffitto. La camera ha un grande letto a baldacchino, un armadio con lavella e lavatrice/ asciugatrice, la zona bagno invece è a vista per quanto riguarda il lavabo e specchio mentre separato il wc. La doccia rimane all’esterno a vista sulla camera. La camera è dotata di phon, ferro e asse da stiro. Noi abbiamo sempre fatto colazione in camera e anche delle cene, facendo la spesa ad un comodo e fornito supermercato. Nel resort non è possibile mangiare. Abbiamo usufruito anche della bellissima piscina nonostante la spiaggia di Cable Beach sia vicinissima. È stato un soggiorno meraviglioso, avvolti dal delicato profumo del Frangipani. Unico appunto da fare è che per un soggiorno inferiore agli 8 giorni non vengono effettuate le pulizie nelle stanze, neanche a pagamento. Per chi, come noi, ha trascorso 5 giorni non è stato piacevole non trovare questo servizio, ma a Broome, gli si perdona tutto!

Andate al Frangipani è un posto magnifico, il migliore alloggio che abbia trovato in 30 giorni da Australia, per un prezzo, visto gli standard Australiani, decisamente onesto, 170 $ a notte. In due avevamo a disposizione una piccola casa elegante, non i soliti mobili australiani anni 80 nè stile Ikea, una cucina attrezzata, un piccolo patio con brai elettrico, una splendida doccia per sciaquarsi sotto il cielo. L’ambiente era tranquillo, pochi ospiti ed anche la piscina era per una volta di taglia “adulti”. E Cable Beach non è poi così lontana....
