Casay on the Beach is closed for a makeover and will reopen in October 2024. Bayside Bar and Grill at Pacific Bay Resort is open 7 days a week and are a two-minute drive or 10 to 15 minute walk away.

A Total Mess

I have stayed here a couple of times before but never again. The place is under renovation, so Reception is a modified Container, there is no Restaurant and no Pool. Now that's good however there is no notification sent to you or easy visible notification on the Website when you book that this is taking place, so you arrive to a total mess. The Staff at Reception were not helpful at all nor apologetic for the situation. I couldn't even get a Tax Invoice upon Check Out, I had to ring a central number and request it. To add to all of this the Rooms are tide, the screen door came off in my hand every time I went into the Room, and it wasn't as clean as I thought it should be for example the floor was gritty. A total mess.

Really disappointed with our stay. We were not informed in advance that the restaurant and bar would be closed for refurbishment which resulted in us having to travel elsewhere for meals. The room we had was very shabby and dated with broken tiles in the bathroom and old and damaged furnishings.

Normally great location, however full upgrade being completed so should be good. Still pools etc just eating/bar facilities. They have made other arrangements with close by facilities for food and drinks.

We have been holidaying at Aanuka for nearly 25 years, from when our kids were little and loved the pools and activities to now, when they have left home, and we have our get-aways. Only being 1.5 hrs away from home, it is ideal, as we are in small Business and not able to go on big holidays. It is wonderful to duck away for a long weekend and still feel like you are in a resort hundreds of miles away.
