Stop over to nsw, Location was great, within walking distance to the city centre. Bed was extremely comfy, room was neat and tidy however the bathroom needs a serious renovation update to this decade,

Albury is such a great regional town, filled with beautiful old buildings and lovely scenery. The Mercure overlooks quite a few of them, but the stay there is just not as memorable as the town itself. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are a decent size for the price, but everything is a little rundown and more like a motel than a hotel. A coat of paint in the lobby areas would do wonders.

We have stayed at the Mercure Albury over 20 times. A few years ago the hotels standard slipped & there was a lot of complaints about the hotel but I feel now things are back to normal. On check in we were informed by Renee that unfortunately we couldn’t be upgraded although we were Accor platinum members. We were more than happy with the room we received. Breakfast was excellent & cooked to order. As usual all staff we met were very friendly especially Renee in reception apologised. Will definitely return.

We usually stay at Mantra but thought we would try Mercure for a change, the hotel has obviously had some updating but still very dated, desk and bathroom in rooms need updated very old and chipped, central aircon very noisy when it came on, otherwise bed was comfy got a good nights sleep, dinner in restaurant was tasty and service was efficient didn’t stay for breakfast as don’t have a buffet other then continental style, pool area looked nice for summertime
