Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay

Overall experience is OK. Some details will be helpful for others who may visit there. I booked a "concept suite" and stayed with my colleagues in the resort for our recent retreat. It did not feel right once I stepped into my room. The room is at a corner of the second floor. The view is blocked to a significant part. The living room area is more or less empty. I asked the front desk and they saw no issue. The siutation was only changed when I pulled out the pictures that the resort they put out on their only site. I challenged the front desk staff and they gave me a much better room on the second day of my stay. The issue was then I had to walk all the way to the end of one wing to get in my new room. 3 minutes walk one way. The hotel should never give me the first room. They should give me an upgrade or a rebate if they truely did not have the proper room. They should not give me a room that far away either. I made feel that the resort just wanted to give me a hard time (by making me walk) in one way or another. The F&B manager there should be replaced. The breakfast is chaotic. They should control the waiting line arrangement at the least. The quality of drinks and food is not even 4 star. I definitely had some sushi not freshly made. I deliberately stayed away from their drink options (which all seem to be cheap sugar water), and had their coffee and tea instead. The front desk team is very good by China standards. They are friendly and helpful. But like many other China resorts, they do not know how to control the crowd in the afternoon of a Staturday (when parents and kids are there to check in). The whole reception area seems to be too small. One suggestion is that the resort can provide bike rental to the guests. The resort is really situated at the north end of lovely bay. Biking would be nice.

The scenery is very good, the sea is also very good, you can see the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge, the service is also good, and the afternoon tea is also very delicious, giving you a pleasant feeling

My wife and I booked a room over the weekend just to chill and relax. The hotel didn’t disappoint us. From the moment we arrived the hotel, we received warm and friendly hospitality throughout the stay. The hotel room was clean, spacious and comfy. Due to pandemic, we haven’t been to South East Asia for three years, Angsana made us feel like we were in a wonderful island with beautiful beach. It’s a great place for relaxation and rejuvenation. Definitely will visit again in the near future.

The hotel has the most authentic Southeast Asian restaurant in Zhuhai, from the decoration to the clothes are very Southeast Asian style, not to mention the delicious Tom yum Kung soup, it is not too good, but a little spicy, not to eat spicy may not be acceptable, but there are many other options are very good, it is worth encouraging to try

Soggiornato 4 giorni con la famiglia. Suite 4007 con piscina privata Suite molto ben accessoriata, ottima la pulizia. Molta attenzione ai bisogni del cliente. Splendida ubicazione con vista molto bella sulla costa di ZhuHai. Buona la prima colazione. Molto belle e pulite le aree comuni. Sicuramente il miglior hotel dove soggiornare a ZhuHai. Consigliatissimo
