The room, swimming pool and location were good, but it feels like a Chinese hotel rather than an international chain. My family and I live in Beijing and so we were looking to treat ourselves to some luxury at an international hotel chain during a break of a few days to Tianjin. But there are no foreign channels whatsoever on the TV, and the breakfast buffet has few international staples e.g. no baked beans and hash browns for a cooked breakfast, or syrup to go with waffles. I appreciate that this is probably due to the big decline in foreign visitors during and after Covid (the chef at breakfast said they used to have baked beans), but worth bearing in mind if these things are important to you.

Excellent stay, spacious rooms, beds were very comfortable. The hotel is very well located. Hotel facilities were a very high standard and staff were very helpful friendly. The pool and breakfast were top notch!

The lady form reception and her name is Zhang Chen（张辰）,she is very helpful and friendly. But reservation from Accor need to improved. And during the novel corona virus the SPA and Gym was closed. Chris Liu

The settings and availability of the suite is spectacular. Best price you can find here. Highly recommended to all costs sensitive trip planner with a desire for taste. Dinner and buffet is renowned even among the locals

Been there this December with my family and my son 4 years old. We love the Banyan Tree sooooo much!The room was beautiful and clean. The view form our window was great, we can see the Haihe river and Tianjin eye so clearly. Also, the location of the hotel was perfect, was closed to anywhere we wanted to get to. And the stuff there were great and so friendly. We will definitely will come back there .
