Hotel is very nice. Staff super friendly and helpful. City is super cool. Restaurant is very good. We have also used hotel e bikes which were super helpful to visit the city. Breakfast is super especially since open up to 11.30! I recommend. Last thing: there are 2 lines (s1 and S8) that directly connect airport to the door of the hotel!

Disgusting Hotel way overpriced no customer service

THE WORST HOTEL EVER STAYED IN . Way over priced , paid a lot extra for a ‘large room’ and it was tiny . Window faced brick walls .cdnt find light switches eventually in most awkward place . No sockets next to bed . No room for a comfy chair just a hard chair at tiny dresser . Cdnt reach hanging clothes rail wasn’t told there was a hook somewhere . Free mini bar is just water and non alcoholic beer !! Reception most unhelpful people ever . Cdnt care less . Wrote to CEO Christopher Hoffman to give a chance before writing this review . Just got excuses upon excuses . Litter outside front doors . Homeless people sitting on steps left teabags and food and was still there when we left after 3 days . False advertising there is no queen or king beds , it’s 2 beds pushed together to pretend it’s a big bed . Just a horrible horrible experience all over . No one interested to make better . When checking out we were asked did we have a nice time ? When we said no it was awful he just ignored me and carried on making sure he got our money . Don’t be fooled this is not as advertised . Very noisy with building work outside . Complained every day nothing was ever done . Just looked at us like we were interrupting them and looking for them to do their job . CEO never even replied was just done be an admin person that wasn’t interested in anything but excuses . Very very poor accommodation . Would not recommend to anyone .

As we’ve already discussed via email, we’d like to address the points you raised to provide some clarification. The room you stayed in was indeed a Large Room, as described on our booking portals. We understand that room size is subjective, but the dimensions and furnishings are transparently displayed online for all guests to review prior to booking. Regarding the light switches and sockets: they are fully functional and designed to blend harmoniously into the room’s aesthetic, which is a signature of our hotel’s style. While this may not suit everyone’s preference, they are not hidden and are easily accessible. Our minibar includes complimentary sweets, water, a Fritz-Kola, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beers. As mentioned in our previous communication, we’re always happy to accommodate requests for alternatives, which we also did during your stay. The outdoor area is public space, and while we strive to keep our immediate entrance tidy, we cannot control activity or debris in public areas. Similarly, the construction work you referenced is a city project, entirely beyond our control. Your room was located in the courtyard side of the building, which is typically quieter, and we received no complaints of noise from you during your stay. Regarding your comments about customer service, we always aim to provide a welcoming and attentive experience for all guests. While we regret that you felt otherwise, we did respond to your concerns promptly and in detail. My goal was to address your points constructively and apologize where appropriate. Lastly, Christoph Hoffmann is no longer the CEO of our company but serves in an advisory capacity. I can assure you your correspondence was taken seriously, even if the outcome didn’t align with your expectations. Once again, we are truly sorry that we were unable to meet your standards. We value all feedback, as it helps us improve, but we also believe it’s important to clarify misunderstandings where they occur. We wish you all the best in your future travels. We went as a family to Munich for the Oktoberfest. We found this cool hotel online and booked our rooms! We were not disappointed! We loved how unique the hotel is-loved the bar and Restaurant and overall great vibe - great location for easy access to trains etc. Everyone was so nice and helpful!

Funky and Comfortable

Very funky hotel, different than what we are used to. Yet, comfy room with very kind and attentive staff. With with one wooden wall it smelled like you were walking into a cottage. NENI Restaurant was quite delicious. We would return for sure.

MEGA - Super Location!

Good Afternoon, I stayed at the Royal Bavarian Hotel from the 10th of Oktober until the 12th of Oktober 2024, and again from the 29th Oktober until the 30th Oktober 2024. The Location is MEGA- absolutely great, only Minutes away from the Main Train Station, and within walking distance to the Deutsche Theater, Bayerischen Stadt Theater, the Pedestrian Zone, and many Restaurants and Shopping Centers. It is also next to the Main Central Post Office, which was positive for mailing Post Cards, but also extremely negative and scary as many young men- all sorts of people rally around the Post Office- all thoughout the Day and night, sitting on the Stairs to the entrance to the Hotel. At night this was not positive as many of those hanging around, begged for Cigarettes, or money. The Rooms are designed with the minimum- a big Bed, but not much else. There is also a Sauna, but I was unable to use it. Breakfast at a cost of 30Euros, was not bad. On account of the Location- the Straßen Bahn across from the Hotel, and the proximity to all of the Venues, I will definitely choose this Hotel, although it is lacking on many issues. Thanks!

Lastly, we’re glad you enjoyed breakfast and found value in it, as we strive to offer a varied selection to start your day right.
