Nice hotel, AWFUL WIFI

Hotel is nice and well maintained with good amenities. HOWEVER, the wifi barely works! This is unacceptable for a hotel of this size that hosts large gatherings and conferences. I joined a Zoom call and got kicked off 4 times in 15 minutes. This makes working impossible. There were several times when I could not even get my email to load. This needs to be fixed!

Reliable connectivity is essential, especially for guests traveling for conferences and business, and the experience you described is unacceptable. We understand how disruptive it is to be disconnected during a Zoom call and to have difficulty completing basic work tasks such as loading email. The Fairmont is a great spot. Great location. The cleanliness is welcoming and overall good service. For the price point and amenities I think it's an excellent choice. This is NOT a 5 star resort. So at face value I would give this a full mark for meeting its expectations. My wife enjoys staying here and we will likely continue to do so for our quick trips to Austin.

Why go anywhere else? Very spacious suite, super quiet, great comfortable beds, got a great night of sleep. Highly recommended!
