I think it's a pretty complete hotel; the rooms are super clean, safe, and above all, stylish. I liked the benefit of being taken to the consulate for the appointment completely free of charge.

I stayed at ibis Styles Mérida Galerías for a little over a week, and unfortunately, the experience was far from smooth. I was initially told I could extend my stay, but the hotel waited until the last minute to inform me that I couldn’t—and then raised the price by 500 pesos. I recommend paying the full amount upfront, or you’ll get frequent calls from staff reminding you to pay and counting down your remaining days. The food was decent for the first day, but quickly became repetitive and unappealing. During my stay, the power went out twice, and there were two nights with no internet—frustrating when trying to work or relax.

Not the best option in the town nor the worst !

I guess 4 stars is fair enough for ibis styles Merida galerías , They have breakfast included for all categories as far as I understood, Located in one the main shopping centers of Merida with lots of shops and dinning options, It’s tidy and comfy , next to a Oxxo and a pharmacy . They offer bathroom amenities, towels and free water and tea too which is nice for this category and the price you is convenient.

Good Place to stay in Merida

This place is good for 2 person. Good for small family for a night or two. The room was very nice, clean. It has bare minimum furniture. Recommended for cheaper and value for money accommodation. Breakfast buffet had nice choice , variety and food was hot. Slightly away , 25 minutes, from Merida city but conveniently located near shopping mall.

Noise and crowds everywhere…anytime…beware !

Not good at all. Unbelievably noisy, small rooms and be prepared not getting a good night’s sleep at all when staying on a weekend as the construction is miserable and if someone shuts a door 50 feet from you you gonna jump up in your bed. Then to make it completely bothersome the housekeeping starts a 7 or 8 and completes the picture of a spoilt sleep….ah and on the weekends it’s just so crowded you won’t even find a space for your breakfast in the huge breakfast/lobby . I was really shocked how dirty the breakfast area was and how guests in Covid times could handle the breakfast stations without anyone caring. I am not a big Corona believer but believe me this was even too much for me to watch.Won’t ever return to this one for sure. Food quality not as good as other hotels. Over-cooked veggies, sweet ,soooo sweet fake juices and dry bakery items in plastic wraps. Coffee amongs the worst you will ever find in the country. And this in wonderful Mexico which produces finest coffee beans. There are so many better and faaaar but far cheaper hotels in Merida,don’t waste your time with a synthetic chain hotel like this one which doesn’t need to deliver due to the name and business guests. A no-go for anyone with common sense. Super-unfriendly check-in by a super self hating woman. Wow … find another job if you make even my wife and me feel unwelcome you did a good job…
