I have rarely seen such an exceptional beautiful and stylish hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much. The design of the hotel is amazing (especially the swimming pool). Breakfast was very tasty and the offer amazing. The dinner we had was excellent too and our waitress Pineapple was extremely polite and joyful. We definitely can recommend this hotel.

A quirky hotel with interesting and colourful motifs, pictures, and paraphernalia (like top hats, umbrellas, bicycle hung from the ceiling). Not for those with minimalist designs but for those with maximalist desires. Think of Gucci when it was under Alessandro. The room was comfortable and bed firm. I must say I got good sleep. Everything functions very well. Check-in and out were fast and seamless. Do remember that when you check out, the reception will call housekeeping to do a check. So cater some time for this. The location of the hotel was fantastic. It’s next to the funicular which will bring you to Fasipan. There’s an added convenience that we were able to buy the tickets with priority (ie cutting all the queues, which is great because they are long). My only dissatisfaction probably lies with the meals. Cacao had great hot chocolate and it’s delicious. But the pastries look sad and not appetising. In Chic for breakfast and Xmas dinner, there was great variety. However, the dishes were sub par. I had a potato curry and I could not tell if it was Indian or Japanese inspired. It was so sweet. The meats were dry, similar to the cakes and pastries. The seafood served over Xmas was good. Sushi was also dry and hard to chew. Chic is a large cavernous dining area but I am always left dissatisfied. Meanwhile, the service was great, special mention to Pineapple who helped us during Xmas dinner. The reception was helpful and the ladies should have a backend office to do their work (there’s none now).

I'm not sure quite what to say about this hotel, apart from it was superb and we absolutely loved it! It's quite a new building (finished around 2017, maybe), but decorated and celebrating the French Indochine era. Everything is over-the-top in size, glamour and outrageousness! From the wonderful lobby to the absolutely magnificent pool, to the high camp of the restaurant, this hotel never fails to impress. The marvellous visuals are matched by immaculately dressed staff, who all seem to speak English and are gentle, friendly, polite and really helpful. We had great cocktails and small meals in the Palace-like Absinthe bar and a very good dinner in the camp Chic restaurant, where we also took our breakfast, from an excellent and very extensive, multi-cultural buffet. We had a spacious room, beautifully decorated, with views over Sapa (well, we would have had views if it hadn't been so foggy). There are little visual delights around every corner of the hotel - just look carefully at the walls, ceilings, etc. to spot all manner of playful decorations. The hotel also features an outstanding Spa, the aptly named Nuages. My partner had one of the best massages ever, from the excellent masseur Thanh. It is worth coming to Sapa just to stay in this fabulous, one-of-a-kind place. Marvellous! (Reviews of the restaurants at this hotel posted to my food blog on Instagram @AbbeyKing16)

Fantastic stay for 3 nights for my family in 2 connecting rooms. Everything was great. Amazing food - local recipes interpreted by a french chef, great staff, really interesting building. The Nuages Spa was amazing. Both Thanh and May C were great masseurs for my wife and me. The concierge/operator Ha did a great job organising the stay and arranging everything.
