I’ve been beating myself up for not finding the time to write this sooner, but our experience at Hotel de la Coupole was truly memorable, and I didn’t want time to pass without acknowledging the amazing team who made our trip possible—so smooth, so thoughtful, and genuinely extra special. Thank you for everything you did to make it such a wonderful experience. It’s been a long while since I’ve wanted to visit Fansipan and Sapa, and staying at Hotel de la Coupole made it even more special. Planning this trip wasn’t entirely a walk in the park, especially for someone like me who usually DIYs most trips. I had to piece together logistics to make everything work. Unfortunately, we were unable to fully maximize our stay due to tight itineraries between Sapa and Hanoi while factoring in train schedules—but at least we have more reason to come back and further explore Sapa, or even Vietnam in general. Fortunately, the hoteliers and staff at Hotel de la Coupole were more than accommodating. We truly appreciated the thoughtful room arrangements, fresh fruits, and **cakes—yes, not one but two cakes—**since we were celebrating our anniversary and my birthday. I guess they had so much to share! The breakfast spread was one of the best we’ve tried, with the egg station and endless cà phê sữa đá keeping me alert and ready for the day. A special shoutout to Tina and her team, who kept us well-informed about opportunities to better enjoy our stay. Thank you for making us feel like VIPs during our visit to Fansipan, as well as for your care during our transit between Sapa and the train station. Keep safe and stay warm, y’all!

This beautiful ‘Parisian Fashion Themed’ vintage styled hotel designed by renowned architect Bill Bensley is absolutely worth the stay. Its location is conveniently a walk away from the main market street & local cafés. The rooms a decadent & the bar a scene from the Great Gatsby. The staff are professional & courteous. Food is definitely priced higher but there are plenty of local restaurants close by. Draw back: Not much of a view from the balconies.

Beautiful hotel. Excellent breakfast buffet! Tasty poolside food/drinks. Delicious bar food/drinks!

Location - 5/5 Located two blocks from the central square, an easy walk to dining, shopping, sights, etc.. Also, the hotel is connected to Fansipan. Facilities/Property - 5/5 Absolutely beautiful design and decor throughout! Lovey hotel! Room - 4/5 Although our room was situated to view the front of the hotel (no good view) it was large and nice. My only complaints were the bathroom doors blocked access to the toilet and also there is no desk or anywhere to place things in the room. Dining - 5/5 Exceptional! The breakfast buffet is simply great! So many food options and laid out so well! Also ordered food at the pool and it was delicious! The cocktails and food at the bar (Absinthe) were also excellent! Staff- 3/5 The door people were great, they always opened the door and were very friendly. The front desk staff and concierge are basically worthless. The front desk seemed to always have 4 or 5 people but they appeared “busy” even when there were no guests around. Then guests would have to wait to be acknowledged until a “busy” reception person was available. Annoying. Also, when the finally did interact with customers their help was brief and unfriendly, as if they were bothered.
