WOW what a stay… billed as “singular & inspiring” De La Coupole lived up to its reputation ….and then some. The Bill Bensley design captures yesteryear with aplomb. The outdoor atrium is truly jaw-dropping… lobby teases you what is to come. Enjoyed the extensive breakfast spread at Chic - with fabulous view. Excellent service from Ms Ngoc. Don’t miss a spa treatment at Nuages… Ms Mai did a great job. Christine in guest services was always on hand. My favorite part.. the one of a kind indoor swimming pool… see for yourself. Congratulations GM Peter!

The most beautifully designed hotel in one of the most beautiful locations in the world among the clouds and mountains. The reception and restaurant staff were very welcoming. The unique pool is not to be missed. The breakfast selection was extensive and delicious. The hotel stay was an experience all to its own and felt like being transported in time to the art deco glamourousness of the1920s in Europe. The only area needing improvement was the menu at dinner. Had the Vietnamese dishes the first night which did not meet the standard of other Vietnamese food we've eaten during our 2 weeks in Vietnam. Next night we stuck to Western dishes.

Staying here is an experience. Part of the Bill Bensley collection, the attention to detail is every corner of the hotel is beautiful with carefully sourced and arranged decoration, paying homage to 1920/30s colonial Sapa. My room was well presented with a view of the mountains from my balcony. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good with a decent selection for a vegetarian. I also had dinner twice and the standard was high. I would recommend enjoying a drink at the bar for sunset. Perhaps the highlight is using the swimming pool, perhaps the most impressive room of the hotel.

An artsy-fartsy hotel with so much vibe and sincere hospitality. Staying 2 nights at the hotel only to find it as a gem the second after a long journey. Ms. Vanessa was gracious to check us in. The room was well appointed, great beds, beautiful layout and a balcony overlooking the city. Breakfast at Chic was definitely a great fare not to be missed. I have had the best Pho here along with other western fare. The extensive spread was more than enough to feed any hunger pangs. Special mention to Si, May , Giang, Kien. All staff were attentive though. The GM, Mr Peter Neto was the most hand-on, approachable GM of all tine. We even had a good chat over coffee. Absinthe Bar which is on Level 10 is another Instagrammable spot. It is the perfect place for a drink or two. The al fresco seating elevated the whole experience. Special mention to Ms Chi and Minh and Tru for preparing my canapes and beverages of sorts. My mate and I had also availed at Chic for dinner. The bread basket was scrumptious as well as my Iberico pork rib being a sinful indulgence. The GM had engaged the staff with huge empowerment. We had two complimentary coffee for the dinner. Ms Halley from the concierge team was another gem who had arranged my bus tickets back to Hanoi and tickets to Fansipan. She even texted to make sure everything was okay on her day off. This is genuine Vietnam hospitality. All staff from rank and file to higher management wore genuine smiles. The indoor pool has the best designs and stories are everywhere in the hotel if you notice. Last but not least, my review is incomplete without mentioning Ms Grace, the assistant front office manager who had been very engaging, extremely friendly and helpful. Sadly, I could not list every staff and I can't thank all of them enough for making my first stay here to be a memorable one. Again, my immense gratification goes to Mr Peter Neto, The Gm who helms a great team of staff. Xin cam on. I have no hesitation to stay here should I come to Sapa, Vietnam again.

Stayed in this property from 11-13th May with a fellow Accor Platinum member. The stay has been perfect with a fantastic culinary experience. Special mention must go to 1. Ms Grace-Asst Front Office Manager 2. Denh(Chic) 3. Trang(Chic) 4. Si (Chic) 5. May (Chic) 6. Mai(Chic) 7. Kien(Chic) 8. Huyen (Vanessa, Front Office) I was pleasantly surprised to see the GM, Peter Neto interacting with guests during breakfast. It’s a refreshing change to see GMs being so proactively involved in operations. Despite not having a Lounge, we were offered a set of Canapés in the evening at Absinthe, and were invited be part of the Cocktail and Mocktail tasting that the property was launching. The Bar Manager had gone of her way to offer such an experience to us out of kindness. Great to see staff being empowered to make decisions in the name of providing customer service. Peter has also kindly offered a waiver of corkage charge for a bottle of wine and 2 lattes while dining at Chic and Absinthe for my birthday. Great hospitality all round. Will definitely return soon!
