Honeymoon, first time in Seychelles

My husband and I spent six nights here for our honeymoon. We stayed at the Panoramic Villa, which was amazing—the views were absolutely breathtaking, and the privacy made it feel like our own little paradise. We had great help from the concierge, Brigitte, who went above and beyond to make our stay seamless. She ensured our bags, which had been delayed on our arriving flight, made it with us on our returning flight—something we were really worried about. She also arranged a wonderful day trip to Anse Lazio and an unforgettable island-hopping adventure that became one of the highlights of our honeymoon. A special shoutout to Mohammed from the restaurant, who made every meal feel personal and welcoming. His warmth, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality added so much to our experience—we looked forward to seeing him every day. While the overall experience was fantastic, we did notice that service at the beach and pool could sometimes be a bit slow. It wasn’t a major issue, but something to keep in mind if you’re looking for quicker service during the day. The staff overall were exceptional, the food was delicious, and the entire resort felt like a perfect blend of luxury, nature, and comfort. We couldn’t have asked for a more dreamy and relaxing start to our marriage. Highly recommend!

Hier ist die lange, emotionale Originalversion – jetzt mit Ryan statt Randy: ⸻ An unforgettable stay in paradise – Raffles Seychelles Praslin We had the joy of spending two incredible weeks at Raffles on Praslin at the end of March – and honestly, it was pure magic. From the moment we arrived, we felt the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. The entire resort is beautifully maintained, especially the lush gardens, lovingly cared for by Paul and Michelle, who also look after the resident tortoises with such devotion. A true paradise for nature lovers. Our Sea View Villa was simply breathtaking – spacious, elegant, and always meticulously prepared. Our housekeeper, Stefanie, pampered us every single day with little surprises on the bed and so many thoughtful details. You can truly feel how much she cares about making guests feel special. The food was great, but what really made the dining experience exceptional was the warm, genuine service. We especially want to thank Sofian, one of the restaurant managers, as well as Mohamed, Samir, Sadam, and most of all Cecile, who took such sweet care of us every day with a smile that lit up the room. The beach and pool were absolutely stunning. The sea was crystal clear, the sand soft and inviting, and the pool – a perfect place to unwind. Yes, here and there a little mosaic tile might be missing, but it’s the Seychelles – raw beauty and the gentle wear of paradise are part of the charm. Rody, the wonderful beach and pool attendant, was always kind, attentive, and full of warmth. Our buggy drivers – especially Ryan – made every ride fun with their friendly, joyful spirit. And our butler Jean Yves – what an incredible person. Always ready with a smile, a joke, and genuine kindness. He truly made our stay unforgettable. We left with full hearts and big smiles, already dreaming of our return. Thank you, dear Raffles team, for giving us two unforgettable weeks in paradise!

Mit Erwartungen per Heli gekommen. Mit erheblichen Enttäuschungen abgeflogen. Das gute zuerst. Sushi Room. Hervorragende Küche. Sehr kompetente Bedienung. Top Empfehlung. Das war es dann aber auch. Zur Erinnerung: Wir sprechen über ein Luxus Resort. Das unangenehme zuerst. Bettwanzen. Zuerst dachten meine Frau und ich das wären Moskitos gewesen. Nach Recherche im www leider Bettwanzen. Fotos vorhanden. Nachhaltigkeit, auf den Fahnen von Accor und raffles ganz weit oben. Die Dusche am Strand mit einem Verbotsschild für Seife. Macht ja auch Sinn. Warum aber laufen dann die Innen - wie Aussenduschen mit Seife und Shampoo einfach frei in die Natur ab. Und das nicht nur bei 175 sondern bei den anderen Villen auch. Die Klimaanlage bietet Einstellmöglichkeiten der Klimaanlage gehen von 17 - 26 Grad. Es verändert sich nur nichts. Daher kommt der leicht muffige Geruch auch in 175. Pool in 175 für 3 Tage außer Betrieb obwohl 3 x die Anfrage von mir Kamm dass der Pool weder nachgespeist noch umgewälzt wird. Die Mosaikfliesen in dem Pool 175 und dem Hauptpool sind in weiten Teile herausgebrochen und stellen eine partielle Verletzungsgefahr dar. Liegen am Strand verfleckt. Sehr ekelig. Frühstücksbuffett reichhaltig. Aber warum werden Lachs, Wurst und Käse in dem ca. 30 Grad warmen Raum ungekühlt aufbewahrt. Das ich die wackelnden Tische in den Aussenbereichen erwähne dient nur dem Gesamtkontext. Ein Anlage im letzen 1/3 des Hotellebens aber zu vollen Preisen. Ich möchte nicht von Kasse machen sprechen aber die Budgetvorhaben der Mutter Accor dürften hier durchaus entscheidend sein. Bei Frage nach der Rechnung tat man sich sehr schwer die Einzelbelege zu liefern und hat dann interne Buchungsbelege kopiert und beigefügt. Ein Schlingel der hier etwas Böses vermutet. Ach ja. Den Buggyservice nicht zum Schichtwechsel bestellen. Dauert bis zu 20 Minuten. Da ich ich in Führungsverantwortung bin weiß ich wie wichtig die persönliche Präsenz ist die hier nicht gegeben war. Mein Fazit: Für weniger Geld und mit Abstrichen in der Hygiene und Optik durchaus buchbar. Defacto 3 Sterne. Aber Praslin bietet sehr viel und ist ein echter botanischer Hotspot.
