We stayed here 5 nights in the course of 12 days as part of a tour. We definitely recommend it. Rooms were fine with some small maintenance issues like power plugs not powered or sink draining slowly. TV operation was confusing. Definitely ask for high floor with view of Andes. Service was very very good. Lobby bar and appetizers were good. Breakfast buffet quite extensive. Good safe neighborhood. Use hotel staff to get taxis. We took bus available a couple blocks away to old town ($.35 ea). Supermax grocery a couple blocks away. Refrigerator in room.

The hotel is beautiful; it’s 40 years old so clearly has been updated. Room great, all common areas sparkling. Our favorite place was Bar le Point. Emerson was our bartender and was so very attentive and helpful. Enjoyed the bar food very much. One night we had sea bass and goat stew. The second night went lighter with crispy shrimp and grilled octopus. Drinks were excellent! Room was very clean and fully equipped with Nespresso machine and automatic shades including optional blackout shade. Concierge was very helpful and helped plan two great days before heading to the Galapagos.

Great hotel with excellent service. Stayed 1 night pre-cruise and enjoyed the service, rooms and environment. The bed was comfortable and the blinds blocked out the light. Noise was minimal even though our room was on the street. Didn't have the breakfast as we had an early start but slept well.

Lovely hotel, excellent service. Nice in house restaurant, as well as many nearby restaurants. Supermarket nearby. Short taxi ride to artisanal market. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Very nice rooms. Workout gym, pool, and hydration station for water refills available.

Stayed here on a Smithsonian tour and loved it. The room was large and clean, and the bed was super comfortable with good linens. We had a nice breakfast with a good variety of food including crepes! There was shopping nearby and some restaurants but we ate in the bar twice- the potato soup was excellent and the food was very inexpensive. We got massages, which were good, and did a thermal circuit but the jacuzzi, saunas and cold plunge are separated in the women’s and men’s locker rooms so I didn’t get to join my husband. Would stay here again.
