Fairmont Baku-Flame Towers claims to be 5-star, but their customer service wouldn’t even rate 2 stars. From the moment I arrived, the experience was absolutely terrible. I was met with rude, dismissive, and unhelpful staff who made me feel like a burden rather than a valued guest.

My husband and I had the most memorable stay last week. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble - the reception team were amazing and the Bistro staff in particular the supervisor at breakfast went out of her way to explain the food which was new to me. Overall, the service was outstanding. This is what made the hotel my favourite I have ever visited. I want to mention one person in particular - Rzayev, who has worked at the hotel for over 10 years! Thank you everyone, we would love to return another day.

The hotel has not Fairmont hotel standards . AC in the room was out of order. It took them hours to fix it. Our room was freezing cold. Simple things in the bathroom was missing. Staff were incompetent. We totally did not enjoy our stay. A big mistake! Only the front desk staff were kind and helpful. Our thanks to Mr Sabuhi. He was polite and helpful.

When it comes to five stars, generally it has to be 5-star. My first time in a Fairmont hotel and couldn't have been a better place for that. The Iconic, Landmark towers, overlooking the Caspian sea & some stunning views! Rooms are outstanding of course, the lobby is huge & pretty. The staff is good. Didn't try the food because I was here only for a night to leave out early next morning for my flight. So didn't try out anything in food so can't comment. But such a chic good hotel!

Television in both rooms not worked. AC (air conditioner) doesn’t work properly it was too cold and when i tried to make it ,it doesn’t worked.i call to reception and they send the person who came and merged the temperature and it was much lower than was shown on AC display.And he said that i should totally shut down the AC and after the room will get warmer again turn on.Then there no air in room cause as we know Fairmont baku hotel rooms windows are not oppening. And the only way to have some air its AC.So i stuck in this dilemma. Then the Last and Biggest problem happened when I tried to shut down the light and sleep.so I couldn’t shut down the light in bedroom.Cause it was broken. İ called nearly 6 time to the reception to fix this problem. But The person who who fixes the light came too late. So again after he came i was waiting 30 min while he tried to fix the lights. Then at 4.30 AM my patient died. Cause i wanted to SLEEP. So i called to receptionist and asked to change the room. But they could advice me this at the beginning.No they waited for my patient to die. Then after my call he called me back and changed my room. At 5 Am i went to sleep. İ advice to change Televisions ,and the light system to the newest smart system.Cause on the walls still such kind off buttons from 90th that doesn’t work properly.
