Overall amazingly beautiful and historic, with an outstanding location. You can feel history as you walk the halls! All said and done, due to an old lumpy King bed, billing errors, incorrect information provided at checkin where we were told that breakfast was not included, but in fact it was, incorrect billing at check out, and somewhat inattentive valet/doorman service, we'll not stay at this hotel again during our next visit to Quebec City which is a beautiful, charming, friendly, and inviting place to visit.

It was such a treat to stay at The Chateau Frontenac. I was thrilled that when we arrived, the Christmas decorations were up and it made everything so festive. Great care and detail is always taken to make this location look opulent, warm and inviting. Although I was expecting a courtyard view room I was absolutely thrilled that our room overlooked the water and the terrace. Truly wonderful. A stay at this hotel is like staying in a castle and it was a gorgeous place to be. Thank you.

Hotel is beautiful and the staff very helpful. We had a suite which was huge with a seperate living room and bedroom and very comfortable. The food was great. We loved the tour of the hotel as well. The tour guide was excellent. Great location!

Overall the hotel aesthetics and historic charm are beautiful. The staff were kind and responsive. The rooms were nice as well. The tours included in the resort fee were a great value and were good tours. However, it did seem weird that as a hotel guest, I would have had to pay for hotel tour. I appreciated the birthday cake, card, and upgrade. However, the pool area is left to be desired. There was nothing wrong with the stay, but it did not meet the expectations of a five star luxury hotel.

LOVE The Chateau Frontenac ! But this Pet friendly Policy is OVERWHELMING !

PETS ARE EVERYWHERE ! And allowed in every room ! Only one floor of this giantic hotel is allergy free !!! Some pets I heard barking on the sixth floor going to the spa… Owners leave their dogs in the room with no surveillance! This hotel should dedicate 1 or MAX 2 floors to pets, not the entire hotel ! If you want past guests to return and keep your Gorgeous castle clean and inviting to all guests with or without pets, relook your pet friendly policy and make it satisfying for everyone !
