Great staff, location, and restaurant outlets. In-room dining menu is all regional food. Regional food is great, however, some classic selections would be nice to offer as well. Lobby is looked great as did the hotel bar/lounge area. Room was spacious but in need of upgrading/remodelling. I was surprised there were no bathrobes in the room. I was in the south tower. I think it has probably been twenty years since it has been updated. The elevators were downright dingy-dusty-pilled up in corners, panelling needs an overhaul and the brass work needed attention. I happened to score a great deal for my room-so, this property still added a lot of value for my dollar. Stay was..ok.

We recently stayed at the Fairmont Dallas, and while the service was a highlight, the hotel itself feels due for a refresh. Pros: • The staff were excellent — friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout the stay. 🧑🏼‍💼 • The location is convenient, though not the most desirable part of downtown Dallas. • Restaurant food was very good, well-prepared and flavorful.🍝 • Gold Lounge hours were generous and often extended beyond the posted times.🍤 • The hotel is very close to the Dallas World Aquarium, which quickly became a favorite.🐠 Cons: • Long lines at check-in, even during non-peak hours. • Even with a suite, there were no notable views. • Rooms and gym need renovation — both feel dated.🏋🏻‍♀️ • Elevators take a long time to arrive, especially when the hotel is busy. • The restaurant menu is very limited for vegetarians and vegans.🥙 • No Nespresso machine in the room and no morning coffee available in the lobby.☕️ Overall: The Fairmont Dallas offers excellent staff and good food, but the physical property and guest flow lag behind expectations for the brand. With renovations and better operational efficiency, this could be a standout stay. For now, it’s comfortable, but not memorable.

We had booked a stay at the Fairmont for my wife's 30th birthday, and I wanted to do something special. I had one of the best experiences with Fairmont's Concierge team who assisted me in making my wife's birthday a special one. I mostly spoke with Philip Powell but I know his team played a crucial role in allowing all of this to come together. They allowed me to ship decorations for the room that they helped to put up. Then Philip suggested to share some pictures of Haylee with her friends and family and he would have his team frame and set it up all around the room. They had the champagne and cake waiting for us when we got there and my wife was shocked! I want to shoutout additional members on Philip's team Darrel Lucas and bellman Max who played key roles in making all of this come together and ensure everything was in order. I truly appreciate the concierge team at Fairmont, and I can say I have not worked with a better team that was so accommodating. All their responses via email or phone were timely and it was a pleasure to work with them. If you want to plan something special for your loved ones, I highly recommend staying at the Fairmont Dallas because Philip and his team will ensure what you plan is truly a special one. I also want to mention that I left my Bluetooth speaker in the room and Philip was able to locate it for me, and then Jack Farley from the Front desk helped me deliver it to the Uber Courier to ensure it got delivered to my in laws in Frisco. I really appreciated all their efforts here.

My Family and I usually look to spend our Holidays Christmas and New year at any of the Fairmont Hotels , because of the luxury , elegance and level of service that we have receive in many of the properties around the world, including USA, Canada and Europe , Regrettably on this occasion we encountered what is overall the worst Fairmont property we have experienced. From the moment we arrive we feel something different about this property , the rooms that they assign to us it was really bad for a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 Teens, after we paid for an Upgrade we have a Suite which by the way was even worse, we have to go to the lobby in order to get some Body wash and Shampoo because they didn't refill the bottles and by the way the phone didn’t work in the room. The common areas were noticeably dirty, the building feels outdated and the public restrooms showed visible damage and lack of maintenance. In the bathrooms, the shower had extremely low water pressure, the toilet required flushing four times for proper use, the refrigerator was not functioning, and the in-room safe its not working. we have to change room because of the size of the beds, after paying for. These deficiencies alone are concerning; however, what was most disappointing is that this property does not reflect the quality - category - or warmth of service that Fairmont is known for. Having stayed at multiple Fairmont hotels across Canada and the United States, I can confidently say that this is, without question that this is the worst Fairmont property I have experienced. The pool area which should be a highlight of any Fairmont property, was in an unacceptable and completely neglected condition. The entire pool area appeared abandoned the restrooms were closed and blocked, there were no towels available for guest use, and the flooring was poorly maintained to the point that the area was essentially unusable. Additionally, the green areas looked more like overgrown weeds than properly maintained gardens Overall, this area was a total disappointment and far from the standards expected of a luxury hotel. Additionally, the restaurant service was unacceptably slow and inefficient. The fact that a 20% gratuity is automatically added appears to negatively impact the level of service, as staff seemed indifferent to guest satisfaction This practice undermines the hospitality experience and does not align with the premium service standards expected from a Fairmont hotel. While the hotel does benefit from a privileged and convenient location, this is unfortunately the only positive aspect I can highlight. Beyond this the overall experience was deeply disappointing and I would not choose to stay at this property again. If this had been my first experience with the Fairmont brand, these shortcomings might have gone unnoticed. However, for guests who are familiar with Fairmont’s usual level of excellence, it is immediately clear that this property does not meet the brand’s established standards.

Staff was the best! Great service everywhere we went. Front desk team was excellent: Lilian, Jaclyn and especially Buy! Dining room staff were all so friendly and handled a backed up kitchen with grace. Hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays and rooms extremely clean.
