Our team stayed in early November, and had a wonderful time. The breakfast and evening bar service on the Gold floor were invaluable for our team to have extra time to collaborate and unwind. Samantha and Jessica were a huge help in booking our reservations and were incredibly patient and amenable to all the adjustments that needed to be made.

Hotel was very well kept, and extremely historic. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. The bartenders in Oak are top Notch, and the whiskey selection was spot on. The location is very convenient to shopping, historic sites and many great restaurants. Can’t wait to go back!

I checked into the Fairmont Hotel today, November 10, 2024. I will never check into this hotel again. The minimum required of a hotel is to provide a comfortable place to sleep. It is November and 46° outside. And this hotel is running the air conditioner for everyone. It is 63° in my room - down from 69° when I first arrived. And it is simply unacceptable. I have fond memories of staying in this hotel years ago. It has plummeted in quality and just about every way imaginable. The food is mediocre, the hotel lobby carpet is filthy, the interior of the elevator looks like it’s 100 years old - Scuffed wood worn finishes, etc. Grand hotels are great. Well, at least the build quality is great. But they have to be well-maintained and visitors need to be respected. This hotel leaves a lot to be desired. If you want to travel for business and rest and comfort is a priority, do not stay in this place. Stay at a Hampton Inn for a fraction of the cost and you’ll be much happier.
