No parking, desk unhelpful but good breakfast STAFF SMOKING AT ENTRANCE.

Wife has mobility issues so asked for suitable room and hotel parking. Room was very good and spacious. However no hotel parking available, worse the front desk could not explain and did not have a leaflet to show alternative parking. So had to go round in circles to eventually park in the Hotel de Ville car park about 100m from the hotel, this was almost full but adequate. Morning breakfast was good. One of the worse aspects of the hotel was that the hotel staff smoked near the front entrance, so we had to walk through a cloud of smoke to get in. I felt like charging 100€ to have my lungs cleaned out, like your charges for smoking in a hotel room. NOT VERY PLEASANT.

Bear in mind that there are a number of “grades” of Ibis hotel. This Ibis budget is indeed budget. You get a clean room and a comfortable bed but the room itself is compact with no real cupboard - just some hanging space and no bedside table. The bathroom is clean with a decent sized shower but only one rather small towel per person. We had the breakfast which for the money was disappointing - the bread and pastries were fresh but the coffee was weak, the choice of cereals was very limited (just 2) as was the choice of jams. It felt as if they had done the minimum they could get way with. Parking at EUR 10 for the night was secure and accessible from the hotel but access could be difficult. You can park in the street for free overnight. It is very convenient being very close to the port with lots of places to eat 7 or 8 minutes walk away.

The budget hotels are 2*, while the Ibis and Ibis Styles are 3*, so some things need to be improved, such as breakfast, for example. Thank you for your understanding and have a nice day.

We stayed at the Hotel very lovely for a budget hotel and breakfast was good value fresh fruit cocktail and bread croissants and cereals nice coffee fruit juice and staffing was lovely and couldn't find anything wrong with this hotel.Good location near restaurant's shops market Saturday brilliant and walking to everything is about 5mins walk only thing I thought was bad slippery shower no grips or handles as I'm disabled but carefully managed and bedrooms and bathroom was spotless and we're be back again thanks for your service Sarah and Kevin Newman Gibbs

We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 dogs. The room had everything we needed, the bed was comfy and the utilities excellent We both enjoyed the breakfast and would recommend to others The service we received was very good and the staff went out of there way to assist us

Exactly what I expected from an Ibis budget - really happy with my stay. Less than 5 minutes' walk from the railway station. The room was clean and comfy. I had a room looking into the inner courtyard, so was really quiet. You can walk to the main sights of Dieppe from the hotel. The staff were all friendly and the female receptionist who checked me in was really helpful with pointing out the main sights on the map and checking I had everything I needed. The hotel breakfast was standard Ibis and very good. I liked the breakfast area. There were vending machines in the reception, which were very useful. I would definitely stay again.
