Staff friendly, afternoon tea was really good, breakfast was VERY disappointing most of the cooked breakfast trays were empty waited half an hour and still nothing came and the few things that were left which was some bacon and hash browns were awful hard and bacon was soo tough. Just ended up with cereal in the end worst breakfast I've had at a hotel. Room was OK but bed was comfortable, radiator was dirty and the side tables

The hotel definitely needs a makeover, however the bed is comfortable, the water piping hot, staff lovely. Our room was very dated. The carpets in all the hotel are well past their lifetime with threadbare staircase. The location of the hotel is excellent for the train station and bus station and has a beautiful garden opposite and within easy access to the lovely historic city. The breakfast was OK, had better but tasted ok. The chef was a bit slow in replenishing the cooked food as my husband waited 15 minutes for a new plate of eggs. Overall for what we paid it was nice and if back in Aberdeen would stay again.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were all very clean, the food looks amazing, I may not have had any but if you do stay I would recommend trying it.
