Stayed for 4 night at the Novotel Suites. (I was in town to visit Prambanan and Borobudur). The hotel staff are pleasant and friendly. (Though the hotel as wee bit signs of aging), it's still comfortable and spacious. I had a suite on the 9th floor that overlooked Jl Perwakilan. The hotel restaurant is on the 8th floor, and it's a pretty wide spread of Indonesian and Western options. There are two malls right next to the hotel that offer stores and eateries. Now, here's the one main point: the Novotel is right across the street from a mosque--you will hear calls to prayer--including at 4 am. Get a room in the back, it might be quieter there. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay.

I stayed at the property for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. They messaged me prior to arrival, making sure my requests were accommodated. They also messaged me on the day of check in, letting me know that the Malioboro st would be closed at 18.00PM. I came around 18.30, check in was quick and smooth. As a loyal Accor member, I was awarded an upgrade to their Executive room. The room was VERY SPACIOUS, with all the basic amenities you need. There was a little kitchenette with sink and microwave. The room was very quiet, a huge plus point for a light sleeper like myself. The room also featured modern furnishing, with comfortable bedding and linen. The breakfast was tasty and varied, especially the Javanese dishes. Unfortunately, I did not explore the other facilities the property had to offer. Overall, a wonderful stay and my go to accommodation the next time I visiit Jogjakarta.

This hotel was a super nice stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is located steps from malioboro market making it nice to visit the market at anytime! We loved breakfast buffet selection. The top floor is amazing as well- we enjoyed the infinity pool and some nice drinks with a great view. Highly recommend this hotel for a super clean and comfortable stay in Yogyakarta.

The roof top of the hotel, the atmosphere is the best

This is the first time that we've stay here. We like the roof top zone, the atmosphere is very good. All services is good and the music that entertain by the singer is the best. We spent one night in the hotel. We liked the rooftop pool. The pool was warm and having a drink up there watching the sunset is amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large. With a few imperfections according to European standards I would say, but nothing important. Location is great, next to Malioboro and railway station which was very handy as we had to catch an early train.
