I stayed here for only one day.. or rather Half day. Staff was good and helpful.. Only shortcoming I saw was that room I was provided was very small. Rarely any space for even moving around bed.. I have stayed earlier in Mercure Hotels.. I was Expecting a better, Bigger Room..

Arrived in Paris late at night two weeks ago, for our wedding anniversary celebration. I had booked this hotel in July, 2024 after reviewing a very glossy web site that after all was a trap of $320 USD a night. The room was dirty (soiled rugs, towels, food leftovers and an unpleasant odor). With my wife in tears we left immediately. With the assistance of the front desk I got the full refund.

Not good. Don't waste your money here.

Problems with a privileged room that cost ~400EUR/night: 1. When the AC is running, it makes a noise at an interval of 2 mins. When it is shuts down, the noise remains and the frequency reduces. We were told that all the rooms of this hotel have this problem. Video attached. 2. Toilet and bathroom doors don't close. Videos attached. 3. Bathroom window had somebody's underwear in the window sill. Video attached. Video attached. 4. Water boiler already had leftover water from before and therefore is now moldy. Picture attached. 5. Only one chair in the room. No facilities to sit and relax except for the bed - this is unhygienic. Picture attached. 6. Shower cap is of low quality. It simply burst when I tried to open it. Pic attached. 7. Shower head and shower knob are broken. Pictures attached. 8. Coffee machine is available but no suitable coffee capsules to make use of the machine. Pic attached. 9. Rooms aren't sound proof. We woke up multiple times in the middle of the night and very early in the morning due to the noise from the corridor.

This Mercure is really as bland as a hotel can get. It’s extremely outdated. My room (which was the higher end room - privileged I think it’s called), had a black and stained carpet, green painted walls and pink tiles in the bathroom. The design is clearly horrible but it’s also worn out and a bit dirty. The breakfast was at least pretty good. All that for €235. I will not come back here.
