The Elysium Taksim, is well located, staff were courteous, we did B&B which was fine. Food and drink in the hotel was very, very expensive. Our room 2007, a deluxe room!!!! ????? was in the basement of the annex with a view of parked cars. But worst of all, I went to reception on FIVE occasions to get our air-con fixed, our room was 31 degrees almost all the time. Yes the technician will fix it was the mantra rom reception, NEVER happened. Eventually on our last night when we were checking out at 3am we were moved to a room for 8 hours with working air-con and a view of a building site. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

My stay at The Elysium Taksim was exceptional. First of all they upgraded my room and that was a pleasant surprise. Also the entire staff was so helpful and courteous especially Susan, Gigdem and Muhammet Ali. Every day they would treat us with great love and care. The breakfast was also very good. Would definitely recommend and come again.

Do not prefer to come.

Not properly trained staff. please do not go if you are traveling with family...air conditioner was not working and any technical staff didn't come after many complaints...shower was also not working..... location is good but hotel is not...

My stay at the Elysium Hotel in Istanbul was extremely disappointing. This hotel is advertised as a 5-star establishment, but in my experience, it barely deserves 3 stars. Firstly, I was given incorrect Wi-Fi login credentials. When I called reception for help, they insisted I was entering them incorrectly and tried to instruct me on how to input a username and password. Eventually, when I went down to the reception with my phone, they realized they had given me the credentials for room 2009 instead of my actual room, 2112. After a two-hour, traffic-filled journey from the airport, this mix-up was the last thing I needed. The room itself had issues as well. The air conditioning did not work properly, and despite asking the staff three times to check it, nothing was done. According to other Google reviews, this seems to be a recurring problem. The service was equally frustrating. One night, after returning to the hotel, I called reception (number 0) to request two bottles of water. They transferred me to the cafeteria (number 4001), which insisted I had called the wrong number and should call reception again. Even after explaining that the reception had transferred me, the cafeteria staff repeatedly told me I had called the wrong number and hung up. When I called reception again, they transferred me back to the same cafeteria staff, who this time was even more agitated. When the water finally arrived, I was informed that it would cost 165 Turkish lira per bottle. I agreed to the price, but the staff insisted on immediate payment with a POS machine instead of adding it to my room bill. Additionally, the staff member who delivered the water was extremely rude, not responding to my greetings or thanks. I am giving this hotel a 1-star rating. While under normal circumstances I might have given it 3 stars, the overall rating on TripAdvisor does not reflect the reality of my experience. I chose this hotel based on its high score, but I found it misleading and unrepresentative of the actual service and facilities.

Now I stay in this hotel and my room is 1036 ,I thought this hotel was 5 stars, but unfortunately, due to the poor cleanliness of my room, I think isn’t 5 star.In the morning, the hotel staff put a wet blanket on the bed and all the sheets and mattress were wet, and no matter how much I told the reception, they did nothing to change it. Moreover, there isn’t coffee (Espresso) in breakfast and you should pay extra for that.With this price, you can really get a better hotel and I am not satisfied at all.
