'The staff was amazing, but the room design needs to improve' I stayed here after being stranded in Xining due to a flight delay. I started getting breathing issues after I got off the airplane in Xining. The high altitude sickness hit me... The staff was wonderful in making me feel comfortable. They provided me with oxygen and lots of water. Especially Kyleli Li Yuan was especially wonderful and Bruce at the front desk did an outstanding job! My body was physically sick and the room design did not help. The room I got was a suite, and it was so huge. In front of the bed, there was a sofa. The distance between the bed and the sofa was more than 4 meters. Normally I do not pay attention to it, but because I felt sick, it felt like someone was sitting on the couch watching me sleep... I would recommend the Sofitel in Xining to rethink their room designs to make it more comfortable.

My wife and I originally booked three nights in a Junior Suite and loved the entire experience so much we ended up staying 16 nights. The Junior King Suite is huge and avails access to the beautiful and quiet Club level on the top floor for complimentary afternoon tea and Happy Hour, both of which offer excellent foods. The breakfast buffet selection and quality are terrific. To top it off, staff are extremely accommodating. Specifically, Mark Ma at the front desk and Tiffany Yang on Club Level were truly outstanding. We are already planning our return to this terrific property.

It’s always comforting to find familiar things especially if you’re traveling in Western China! True to the brand, the hotel had all the Sofitel/Accor offerings. Beautiful rooms. Buffet breakfast was plentiful with both western/Chinese options.

Ho soggiornato qui 3 mesi. Hotel nuovo e pulito. Le camere sono belle, con cucina, frigo e lavatrice. La colazione buona, con cibo cinese ed internazionale. Personale fantastico, grazie al quale, mi son sentito come a casa. Qualità prezzo OTTIMO! Sicuramente tornerò in questo hotel se avrò la possibilità di tornare in Xining.

L'hotel è nuovo più o meno un anno di vita.lo staff è cordiale e se c'è bisogno di informazioni sulla struttura o la città basta chiedere parlano un discreto inglese nella media e se si è capaci di parlare un po di cinese mandarino non ci sono particolari difficoltà. L'hotel è dotato di alcuni sevizi tra cui negozi interni, poco interessanti per un turista, ma al fianco dello stesso c'è un supermercato e un centro commerciale nella via dietro ristoranti e farmacia. La piscina è al coperto ed è bellina per fare un bagno e rilassarsi gli spogliatoi sono dotati di sauna e bagno turco. Le camere sono dotate di cucinino e fuochi ad induzione e frigorifero ottimo per i lunghi soggiorni il manager dell'hotel è simpatico essendo francese mi sono esercitati nella lingua bevendo qualche calice di vino. C'è la spa e palestra un ottima colazione a buffet e ristoranti nel caso si volesse cenare compreso il buffet per chi vuole varietà o non è esperto di "Cina" e preferisce vedere cosa mangia, visto che è una provincia dove usano molte spezie e peperoncino è sicuramente utile per chi non parla la lingua per evitare i classici problemi derivati da una alimentazione non tua è spezzata. Il miglior hotel della città con servizio di auto private e tour, se si chiede informazioni si appoggiano anche a guide private molto valide ma parlano solo mandarino, per lo meno quelle che ho preso io, non ho avuto problemi nonostante i miei pessimi toni
