Have just spent three nights at Novotel New Plymouth and the stay was great. We arrived after a very long journey due to weather related road trip closures and were greeted at reception by Ian. He was extremely professional, well mannered, knowledgeable and friendly. A wonderful ambassador for the hotel. The room we booked was an executive room which was spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. Not a lot of shelf or drawer storage in the wardrobe but not a big deal as room was spacious. Did not eat at restaurant but all reception staff were so pleasant as were housekeeping staff. Nice touch with minibar and anniversary gift. Overall a wonderful stay and would choose to stay again. Thank you.

My family, friends and I went to Haukai Bistro last Sunday for High Tea. We had a really lovely experience, as the sandwiches, cakes and pastries were beautifully presented and delicious. There was plenty of choice, both with nibbles and teas available. There was also a bubbles menu, in case you wanted something alcoholic (at an additional charge). All the staff were welcoming, friendly and very attentive. The only one area that we think could be improved upon was the amount of sandwiches, as more could be offered in addition to traditional scones. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our

Great hotel, excellent location, free parking, clean rooms. Front desk were very helpful and friendly. Will be back. We used Accor points as we are members. This gave us a very affordable rate. Rooms are very spacious. Only negative was the Gym was too hot and quite small. The gym equipment needs updating
