I’m staying at the Mercure for work. It’s for an emergency meeting. My sister booked me the executive suite, and I have a nice tree view from my room. The wardrobe is huge, though the heater’s a bit dusty. There’s also a seating area in the room. I really love the lobby – it smells amazing! It’s a bit busy though since there was only one staff member on duty at the time. Zaida from guest service was super calm handling all the grumpy guests. Overall, good service here. The only thing I don’t like is the smell in the corridor

Комнаты требуют ремонта и хорошего клининга. Убирают только центр комнаты, везде в углах грязно, стены грязные. Очень плохо пахнет в номере. Душевая в черном грибке. Окна грязные.Кондиционер шумный и мешает спать. Мебель старая и грязная. Интернет очень плохо работает. Номера тесные, очень маленькие. Дверь в туалет стеклянная и до середины стены, что есть дверь, что ее нет…Побыть там наедине не получится. Ужасно плохо, один из худших отелей, где я останавливалась за 15 лет.

Location: Well, it is called city centre but I di not find a city centre. A mall Igel), a pier and some shops and some restaurants, that's it. The only upside is a nice view to the sunset. If you go out the main exit and turn right, there is a good Korean restaurant and a nice shop for snacks and wine. Room: Small as expected but here come the point. The first one was dirty and especially mouldy, the second half way ok, even though pretty worn. And in the first one the AC did not work. OK for one night but that's it. At best, if you avoid the bad rooms. Service: In the first room the AC was broken and three times ringing the reception did not get any answer. So track you bag back to the lobby to find out that there is no other room and the next one might be available in 2 hours. Overall the impression was clear: You stay here for one night, you will never come back and that's how we treat you. Well, the former was right, the latter they made sure of. Public spaces. Worn down in many areas the only saving grace was the pool where you had a nice view of the sunset. Bring your own towels. (see service). All in all. For one night enjoy the Korean, have some wine from the shop and ignore everything else.

Great stay for my family. The team has been very helpful in making it a enjoyable stay for me and my family. Hotel has great location as well. However pls note the hotel is old but definitely value for the price we are paying. Highly recommend for your next stay

Lovely decor and excellent staff. Good location, a quiet area, just a short walk to the waterfront area Room is a good size and well appointed. Excellent pool deck on top (25th) floor, a fantastic view across the entire bay We watched the sunset develop over several nights - really wonderful. We also greatly enjoyed the restaurant at the pool for drinks and dinner The breakfast buffet - mixed * The selection appears great, but average quality * There are freshly booked eggs and good coffee - good * Our main issue - the food is warm/cold. Many dish heaters were not on, or if they were on had almost no heating effect. A couple small details * Room safe very hard to get to - bottom of the closet, with a door that only partially opens... * There is an excellent filtered water faucet provided but this was not explained. We figured it out by the third night.
