Stay was comfortable with all amenities. Luxury food and staff service was very fast. They were available throughout and were able to give us immediate response/ solutions. I highly recommend staying here for people coming to visit mysore.

Great location for exploring Mysuru Palace

Really enjoyed the stay here at Grand Mecure. The staff were wonderfully welcoming and genuine in their efforts to make stay enjoyable - even going to extent of impromptu invitation to Xmas celebration in foyer held that evening. Super close to Mysuru Palace and some good shopping (esp silks). Amenities were just enough for the stay - which i chose to recognise as a good signal of the hotel’s commitment to sustainability. Minor grievance at being told upon checkin about the restaurant on 6th floor to go up there 3 hours later and see that it was closed on Mondays. But good food options are close by in any case including the buffet on ground floor which was really good for breakfast. Encourage hotel porters to assist hotel guests when they are confronted by prickly uber drivers demanding tip amounts and payments outside of app- but that is minor against the excellent service provided throughout test of our stay.

While there is nothing negative per se about the hotel, the property strikes you as a perfectly normal one - standard rooms, professional service, a decent restaurant, spacious ambience et al. The service element can be enhanced significantly though - neither do the staff members smile nor do they greet you as you pass by, which is usually par for the course in the hospitality industry today.
