I see this hotel claims to be 5 star , no way on earth this is a 5 star hotel . 2 at best . Rooms , clean , bed comfortable . We had no towels on arrival and had to wait an age for them to be delivered , they could cut a second key for the room . No usb points . A window into the shower with a mouldy blind . Wall mounted shower , no rainwater shower here . Scuffed and marked furniture , wallpaper peeling off at seams . No milk . Food : very average had buffet two evenings on the spin , no lamb or goat , chicken is the main food , curries ok but always late with breads . Can’t charge to your room so pay by card or cash only . Tried the ala cart but everything we wanted was not available Gym: old tired machines , no clear floor space . Told reception that the treadmills were dangerous ( every time you speed up to run the machine will stop dead or slow down) , still operating a day later Bar : never any service there waiting always have to walk to the desk to call someone . 15 minute wait for someone to come and take an order .

We are pleased to note that you found the room clean and the bed comfortable. However, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the delay in providing towels upon arrival, the absence of a second room key, and the lack of in‑room amenities such as USB points and milk. Your observations regarding the condition of the shower blind, furniture, wallpaper, and shower fittings have been taken very seriously and shared with our engineering and housekeeping teams for corrective action. We regret that our dining experience fell short during your visit. Your feedback regarding limited buffet variety, delayed bread service, unavailable à la carte items, and the inability to post charges to the room is noted with concern and is being reviewed by our food and beverage leadership to improve consistency, availability, and service efficiency. Regarding the gym facilities, we are particularly concerned by your comments about the treadmills. Guest safety is of utmost importance to us, and this matter has been escalated for immediate inspection and rectification. We apologize that your feedback was not acted upon as promptly as it should have been. We also regret the delays you experienced at the bar. This is certainly not the service standard we aspire to, and additional supervision and staffing reviews are being undertaken to ensure more attentive service. While we understand your disappointment with the hotel’s star positioning, please be assured that we take such feedback very seriously and are committed to continuous improvement across our facilities and service delivery. Thank you once again for sharing your experience. We sincerely hope you might consider giving us another opportunity in the future to offer you a stay that better reflects our service aspirations.
