We stay at the Novotel whenever we visit Taiping - which is quite often since it is the resting place of parents, relatives etc. I don't normally comment but just wanna make a big and grateful shout out to the reception team and security for enabling the charging of our BYD Dolphin overnight, which was hugely appreciated. OK, it was a trickle charge - so very slow - but we got sufficient power into the battery to see us back to Kuala Lumpur. Not surprisingly, there are not many charging points in Taiping so this concession by the staff was very welcome. Thank you.

We had a very enjoyable two night stay in this hotel. The room was on a high floor with a wonderful view of the lake and the forest-covered mountain. The breakfast and service was excellent and the staff very helpful. Several people had asked us why we would bother to visit Taiping. I can honestly say that it was a highlight of our visit to Malaysia. A great friendly town with traditional values while the hotel was modern and great value for money. We were so glad we decided to stay here

Super Cool stay at Taiping

I booked two suites for one night, & I was so happy to see the upgrade to presidential suite. Every moment was a delight. When I booked I was a bit skeptical since it's right in the heart of the town, but the view was spectacular the lake, mountains, and super sprawling landscape. The staff was courteous, especially Mirza and Zarif, who make us feel very welcome. The restaurant offered wide range of local dishes which are really good. There’s a beautifully maintained park, perfect for a rallying walk or jog, we really enjoyed it. Being in the middle of town was also super convenient for trying nearby hawker food, honestly we didn't try. There is a mall directly connected to the hotel. The only downside was parking, driving up six stories to park was a bit of a hassle. Overall, an amazing stay. will definitely be back

Stayed here for 1 night in a room facing the lake. This is our 2nd time staying at Novotel and we really enjoyed our stay again. It is near all the sights and we could walk everywhere. The safe in the room did not work at first and the friendly man at reception came to fix it for us immediately. Free parking is available at Level 6 and we liked that it was a separate area for the hotel guests.

The hotel is located in the heart of Taiping town. Very well connected to restaurants, tourist spots & adjacent to a shopping mall.
