The hotel has nice and clean room. Bed is comfortable, and shower is good. Nice food at Breakfast. Location is prime.I have no complain. The bar area however is lacking of privacy, many people passing by, or just rest at the place while check in/out or wait for friends. I would rather bring the drinks back to hotel to enjoy.

Overall my stay was pleasant. Clean room. During my stay only that make me unsatisfied is the TV channel is unavailable. Hope that Novotel Taiping always do monthly maintenance and resolve this issue ASAP. Lastly, big thank to Amirul (Front Desk) for helping me to get good rooms.

Poor room arrangement as do not read guest comment or request upon check in; I had arranged my booking a weeks before, this must not happened upon check in. No priority at all for Accor membership. To be improve the professionalism for front-liner.

Poor reception service and room cleanliness

The hotel rooms were booked about a year ago however due to the pandemic we were only able to take a trip to Taiping recently. The staff at reception was unclear of what he was doing, moreover he did not have a welcoming attitude towards us. He was rude in talking and no customer service or whatsoever. There were litters in both rooms when we first entered, ie: plastic wrapping from mineral bottle, tags from clothes,etc. One thing good was the housekeeping girls who after we requested, helped us cleaned the rooms again and vacuumed.

everything was fine, from the check in, parking space, room cleanliness, the amenities and the ambience of the surrounding of taiping city. if there was something to improve was the courtesy and etiquette of a particular waiter in the hotel restaurant…( tried calling the restaurant to review on the incident but couldn’t get the manager) who was rude and questioning us of our choice, and it did spoil the mood for the lunch which i wanted to try their crispy squid , highly recommended. highly recommended as it has a mall next to it, local food court in front of the mall and a good place to jog at the taiping lake garden.
