Beautiful chic hotel, lovely spa facilities for indoor pool, sauna, and steam room, delicious restaurant and wonderful staff. We had a phenomenal stay during our three nights at this hotel! Highly recommend!

We stayed a few days in this very nice Hotel, it is located outside from the city but well positioned, the Hotel offers an excellent Breakfast, the staff is very professional and friendly and last but not least the room(s) are clean.

Unfriendly staff and cockroaches in the room

First room offered had heavy smell for cigarettes. Alternative room offered was full of cockroaches. Finally, I was offered a 3rd room - it was very noisy due to neighboring night club, but I had to accept this one, at least there were no insects. Breakfast is very expensive (18 eur per person) with very limited choice. No fresh vegetables offered. Breakfast staff is very unfriendly and extremely greedy. English is barely spoken and only by some members of the staff. Hotel is far from everywhere - it is by no means a Bastia hotel. It is Biguglia hotel.

We are very surprised by your remarks concerning our buffet breakfast as well as our staff, which are generally very well ranked in customer experience surveys. We are sorry that you had to change rooms so many times and we apologize for the presence of insects in your room, the latter being ventilated regularly and close to the countryside of Biguglia. We hope that you will not stay on this bad experience and will be delighted to welcome you again.. Hôtel Mercure & Spa Bastia Biguglia **** .

Excellent overnight stay

Two minor snags. The bedding provided was much too hot for the season - early autumn. We removed the duvets and slept under the duvet covers so as not to have to use the air conditioning. The shower itself was excellent except that in both our short stays the water flooded out under the shower door.
