We enjoyed our stay at Grand Mercure Medan very much. The room is spacious, well-kept and comfortably furnished. We stayed in the room 1016, from 14/09 until 19/09. The breakfast buffet is delicious, and offers enough different variations, either local or international options. Fresh fruits are also always served. The hotel's staff were really helpful, friendly and accommodating. On our first dinner, there was some inconvenient disorganisation, which caused our meals and drinks to arrive very late and in an incorrect order (the starter and the main dish arrived at the same time). However, the duty manager at the time, Mr. Amba, immediately gave their explanations and apologies. when they found out about my birthday, Mr. Amba and his friendly customer-oriented staff did not fail to give me some very lovely attention during our next dinner at the hotel! Thank you so much for all your kindness and lovely service, Mr. Amba, Miss Rizka, Miss Nova, and the other staff! You made our stay at Mercure very memorable!

For the first time came to this hotel and over all is very good, the staffs are very help full and kind, especially when the reception help me to get the good room as my request. I saw so many review about this hotel and i choose to try this hotel and i am so happy with my kids, next will come back to this hotel for another staycation with my family

Overall the hotel was good , the room and the acomodation , but the restaurant was messy, no have space for when come to enjoying the breakfast, the atmosphere so hot , So many kind of food and good taste I love the teh tarik is very good and also thank to sonya for make a reservation to me ..

Unfortunately, we've had several issues since checking in : we had two rooms. The first room , when we turned on the shower, the water ran murky for 10 seconds before it was clean. The second room : the shower was simply inoperable due to a broken feature so we had to request another room, Then, we went to the restaurant where the food was not very appetizing and we essentially had to ask for everything which should have been provided : napkins, clean silverware, second glass to drink from, salt and pepper and so on. The staff is very friendly as always in Sumatra but the customer experience is not what we would expect from an Accor brand. We won't come back

So, this was my first time in Medan, and I decided to stay at the Grand Mercure. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The hotel’s location is spot-on, right in the middle of the city, which made getting around super easy. Plus, there are plenty of local spots to grab a bite or do a bit of shopping just around the corner When I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home. Check-in was a breeze, and they were more than happy to give me the lowdown on the city and some cool places to check out.
