We stayed in one of your Glamping tents. Let me start with the good stuff, the tent is great, waking up with the sides down gives you a 270 degree views of the world and waking up in a four poster bed seeing that is just fantastic. Plenty of space in the tent, too. Great shower/bathroom and excellent toiletries. Now it would have been a better experience if the location wasn't as close to Ulan road as it is. Traffic is noisy and unpredictable. The second issue with the location is that our tent was behind the kitchen(?) of the main building where two bright flood lights light up the parking area and two outlet ducts of industrial HVAC blow noisily constantly. Not great. The four poster bed was great but the mattress too soft. Last but not least, we had breakfast included but somehow the intercontinental breakfast was not there anymore, and the replacement did not encourage us to go for dinner. Through our booking agent, Luxury escapes, we were given a $50 voucher but did not end up using it. You certainly are on the right track but you need some finetuning to get this to level people pay for. Our deal was 40% off but was still North of the amount you normally pay for Ovolo or Crystal brook hotels. At full price I would have been very disappointed with what's on offer.

Great stay, Lovely location gorgeous surrounds and the rooms Where nice and big. Just the place looks a little rundown but other than that great day. Lovely staff and the bed was super comfy.

I booked on Monday through the Accor app. On arrival Wednesday I didn’t have the room I booked available as you had not allocated it stating “Accor bookings are manual”. I was offered another room described as a “tent”. When I asked if it was possible to have the room I booked I was met with distain. The woman was passive aggressive and belittled me. The vindictive woman maliciously moved me to the disability room. I felt uncomfortable and unwanted as a guest. I considered leaving and changing hotels but I had just driven for 8 hours. The woman demanded I write my credit card number down. She then left it in view for anyone to see. This is a breach of the Privacy Act and has been reported to the OAIC. The room was obviously meant to accommodate someone with mobility issues. It was not as I expected. Walls are paper thin and TV next door kept me up until 11pm and awake at 5:30am. Disrespectful. On departure there was another woman who was belligerent and made me feel unwelcome. I requested the invoice emailed and she said no that she would print it.

We do understand that we went to the hotel knowing that we couldn’t leave the dog in the room unattended. This made it difficult for breakfast and dinner or even to go to the swimming pool, which would have meant going separately. Which we ended choosing to go into town to eat as it was easier and cheaper so you lost our money. The hotel advertises as dog friendly however i would categorise it as a hotel that accepts dogs. At no point did we think the hotel was dog friendly, like being refused to take the dog into the reception area and the expression on the receptionist’s face when she said no when we asked.. To get a feeling of a dog friendly hotel have one of your senior staff stay at the Fairmont Resort in the blue mountains with their dog. You will see a total difference between a “Dog Friendly Hotel” and a hotel that merely accepts dogs…we would also like to point out the pictures on your website with dogs pictured on beds and in the tents are misleading as is the picture on the web of the standard room that we could stay in….we obviously realise you cater for the overnighters with dogs and that makes it good for them but you could turn your hotel into a destination for people that have dogs…we purposely book the Fairmont Resort because it is such a nice experience to do with your dog…the staff love our dog…I hope someone calls me about my review as I would like to discuss further. The buffet breakfast wasn’t really worth the money and given we were the only ones there it would have been nice if the staff could have left the door open so we could have gone in and out without having to put our plate down…the cups were not clean….
