The hotel didn't have the heating system working in the lobby, the bar and in the restaurant. Outside the temperature was -4°, inside maybe 10°. I had to have breakfast and dinner with the coat on ! there were portable little stove around to mitigate the temperature. Incredible for a hotel that pretend to be 4 stars! No apologize from anyone at the hotel, I paid 100% the cost. In addition, during the check out, my colleague found 30€ charged for bar service that didn't take place. They anyway took the extra money from the credit card and after having checked the mistake, didn't provide the reimbursement on the credit card, that is the fastest way to give the money back! and the lady on the counter wasn't friendly at all during the circustance. I'll never go back at the Mercure.

4 stars? No way..

Hotel is getting worse by the year. Staff at the desk isnt motivated to help or even great you, the hotel itself needs some big renovation work, breakfast is bad and rooms are really noisy. It isnt what it used to be. Location is ok but that isnt the priority.

Excellent experience we were greeted by a lovely man Owais Goub. Who greeted us with great customer service. He made us feel very welcomed and relaxed. Will definitely visit again.It was very nice to be next to a big shopping mall with lots of nice places to eat. It was a big bonus knowing we also had a lovely heated pool in the pool. The kids loved it.

Should the “reception” staff be changed? Look to the comments more and more customers are complaining on that matter !!!! He does not respect customers, and is not at least polite. Can even be considered agressive to some extent This hotel has been constantly declining in terms of hospitality for years. It is the customers who make a hotel come alive, so dear dissatisfied travelers, move on. If we change hotel maybe the team will change at least...the management will eventually understand Furthermore, maintenance also leaves more and more to be desired (the extraction of the bathroom makes a lot of noise, etc.) Plus no heating all night The 4 stars are no longer really deserved

Difficult to find as building work going on for Westfield shopping centre, but there’s plenty of parking and once in the hotel the rooms are quiet. No reception desk, which I think is a mistake as it makes for a good interaction between staff and guest. Nice public areas and very fast elevators take you to your rooms. My room was clean, spacious, had plenty of storage, an excellent shower and all the things that come with a Mercure hotel. There was a broken bedside light but otherwise all was well and I slept well in the comfortable bed. Breakfast was buffet-style and had a large selection of hot and cold food so there was something for all tastes. Don’t forget to use the lovely swimming pool, it’s open until late and you could be lucky to have it all to yourself.
