Disgusting Hotel

i had given a excellent review of this hotel in 2021. Well, however things are very different in August 2023. I stayed here on night of 23 August/morning of 24 August 2023. The clerk who signed me in did not speak a single word of English or Spanish. I want to ask his bosses - How can you employ a person to work on hotel front desk without a single word of Spanish or English? Please tell me? The clerk took 40 minutes to check me in at 0230 in the morning. He did not have any sympathy for me that I may be tired. He did not have training how to check in. There was no hot water in shower. The internet was not working. I had to use hot spot of my cellphone from home country to send business emails. The room had a mold smell. --- I do not recommend this hotel to fellow travelers. I will not be returning here.

Typical Ibis hotel. Stayed here in January, 2021. Front desk staff very efficient and polite. Room extremely comfortable and looks 100% like any other Ibis room. Shower pressure very good and hot. Internet speed very good and fast. Location extremely central, near the happening places of the town. Highly recommend this hotel to all. I will be back. Hope you found my review helpful? The hotel is well priced and in a good location. The staff are extremely helpful. The room is a good size, clean and comfortable. Wifi is good and breakfast was also good. The hotel is close to restaurants, waterfront and boat to Ihla do Mel.

The only problem I had was a dog on the same floor banking frequently, notably, at night.I didn't know dogs are allowed at IBIS' hotels.If I had known, I would have made the reservation in another hotel.

No bad review on this hotel. We arrived very late and staff was very very friendly. Rooms are small but sufficient for one nights stay. A cup of coffee would have been perfect but you need to order breakfast to have coffee. We had our own coffee so they did provide us with hot water!! Great stay!
