Good . Average price rate in kk area, location is excellent nearby to suria sabah shopping mall, gaya street and pasar malam in walking distance, friendly staffs by sharing sharing and arrange the room based on our request (definitely when have rooms available). Overall excellent from me.

A pleasant stay but with a few items for improvements

A stylish and modern hotel from the first impression. While the room was clean, there were a few areas lacking in attention from the housekeeping team. There was no shower cap provided in my room and I had to call for them to furnish. One of the bath towels was found torn. At the coffee bar, one of the creamer sachet had totally hardened and when opened looked like a cake of soap. One brown sugar sachet was also hardened but I did not open it. Perhaps, Housekeeping should check the expiry or state of these sachets before placing them in the guests rooms. The room lacks an iron and ironing board. Guests are required to go to the end of the corridor to use it. This is very inconvenient for guests in the evenings as the lighting along the corridor especially toward the end was very dim. Perhaps the corridor lighting should be brightened. The buffet breakfast spread was commendable. But the coffee machine that dispenses coffee had more milk than coffee in it. A cuppacino tasted the same as a latte. The toaster was not working as it should. The hotel staff had to guide patrons on how to manually turn off the timer and self eject the bread. (Ibis, it is high time to change the toaster) In terms of bed comfort, it was second to none. The bed was very comfortable with adequate pillows and bolsters to pamper our sleep. Kudos! I opted for a quiet room in the upper floor. While the view consisted of a river, villages and mountain, I was contended with it. Wall sound proofing between rooms was quite poor as I could hear conversations from the next room and loud sound of funitures being dragged/moved on the upper level. (I was placed at Level 11). The hotel is strategically located in the township of Inanam. There were many eateries, convenience stores, laundry, pharmacies, clinics and banks surrounding the hotel. It is also about 10 minutes walk to Inanam Mall. Overall, my stay was pleasant except for some hiccups here and there.

This is our second time here. Room is clean. Breakfast is nice as always! Got a complimentary cake for my husband birthday and a little surprise from the staff. Very nice! Many nearby shop around the hotel. Had a good stay with my family and will definitely come again soon😍

we had marvelous stay at ibis style hotel for 2 nights on 26th and 27th april 2024. firstly, the pillows are so great! very soft and fluffy. no bad neck pain. room was totally clean with the essentials. Our breakfast was enjoyable with attentive staff. here also had rooftop with beautiful scenary. I would recommend to friends, and will definitely stay again if Im back in Kota Kinabalu
