Disclaimer: Das Hotel wird gerade komplett renoviert, wir hatten noch alte Zimmer, die Erfahrung wird sich künftig vermutlich so nicht mehr bestätigen. Sehr groß und bequem fand ich das Bett, ansonsten im Zimmer für eine Person ausreichend Platz, zu zweit wäre es eng geworden. Das Badezimmer war noch alt, aber funktional. Einige Roststellen in der Badewanne, Schimmelspuren in einer Ecke, aber darum wird sich hoffentlich bald gekümmert. Für eine Übernachtung ok. Frühstücksangebot fand ich sehr gut und habe die Auswahl sehr genossen. Bei meinem früheren Aufenthalt wurde das Frühstück in der Lobby gereicht, im Restaurant fand ich es würdevoller, auch wenn man dort nicht komplett mit dem Fahrstuhl herunterfahren kann. Bedingt durch die Renovierung und die damit verbundene Zimmerverfügbarkeit habe ich leider auch kein Upgrade erhalten können. Für meinen nächsten Glasgow Aufenthalt habe ich erstmal ein anderes Hotel gewählt.

Eingangsbereich im Prinzip nicht vorhanden wegen Bauarbeiten. Bau verklebter Lift. Abgenutzte (saubere) Zimmer. Keine AC, Fenster alt, klapprig und nur ein kleines Stück zum Öffnen. Das mit Abstand schlechteste Mercure was ich je gesehen habe. Um die Marke zu schützen, sollte man es besser schließen.

Wir reisten mit dem Bus vom Flughafen. Dadurch kurzer Weg vom Bahnhof. Das Hotel liegt zentral. Das Zimmer hat gepasst.
