Swimming pool very nice (large size, heated and seats available). Staff profesional. Very good location. Good food (dinner and breakfast). The rooms are very basics and miss a fridge. The airconditioning works well. Parking expensive (15€)

We stayed here on 2 different dates just for one night to play Royal Ostend Golf (just next door) and Royal Zoute (35 minutes away). There's plenty of room to park, it costs only 15 EUR a day. What I liked most about this hotel is the great pice/quality. It's nothing fency, but everything you need. The breakfast buffet was a lot better than plenty other hotels we visited for a much higher price. I would definitely book this hotel again.

We arrived very late after a long non-stop drive from Wales and the restaurant was, unsurprisingly, closed. I asked if there was a local restaurant open. The receptionist said no but could see that we were tired and hungry and opened the kitchen to cook us spaghetti bolognese. Excellent, beyond the call of duty service and highly recommended if you're looking for a stop en route to Brussels from the channel tunnel. The following day we stayed at a 5-star hotel in Brussels where the welcome was nowhere near as friendly as this Ibis.

I stay at Accor hotels often, as I am a Gold Level member. Ibis never disappoints me, however this time it did. The location is great. However, the miss behind the reception (with the glasses) wasn’t able to smile at all or be kind in any way. She even used the informal version of “you” in Dutch, which is not very common in Belgium when interacting with clients (or anyone). The blonde miss in the same shift only had her interest in three boys that were hanging in the bar the entire evening. The restaurant is okay. However, the pasta taste like it was made the a couple of hours earlier. The pizza was okay. The room was very hot and the air cooler made a lot of weird noises. Although that is uncomfortable, the service (or lack of) is the most unsatisfying part.

Comfortable bedroom, sufficient place for a couple, everything was clean. The staff was very friendly. The prices are reasonable. The swimming pool was clean and water temperature was great. We could sunbath in the garden.
