Fantastic stay. The staff are all wonderful, so helpful - nothing is too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was amazing - breakfasts were fabulous and the dinner also, especially the whiting which we ate several times - it was the best whiting we have ever had.

Kangaroo Island is a must see & the Mercure is a great base

Right from when we checked in the welcome we received from Carlos made us feel special, and pleased that we had chosen the Mercure to stay at. Sue, in reception, also made us feel welcome and was more than happy to provide information to help with our stay on the island. The restaurant staff, particularly Sarah were welcoming, interested in their guests etc… and provided warm friendly service with a smile - nothing was a challenge. Our room had great views out to the bay, where you could go for walks and see wildlife etc…For our purpose the location was perfect- 30 minutes to the ferry terminal and everything else was say 60 /90 mins drive depending where t]you were going. As a destination Kangaroo Island is a must, and the Mercure is a great place to base yourself.

We enjoyed Kangaroo Island and the Mercure certainly made it a nice experience

The hotel was clean and we enjoyed the restaurant and lounge. The pool looked nice but it wasn't the weather for swimming. All the staff were friendly and always very helpful. We had a beautiful view of the water from our room with a nice balcony to sit on to enjoy it

I was disappointed with the dining options at both the restaurant and the bar. I would like to see some non-fancy affordable options at least on the bar menu. The hotel room was nice. The location was lovely and the surrounds and grounds were beautiful.

Was great location for us to trip around the island. The staff were all great, from the friendly welcome in reception to the extremely friendly and helpful staff in the restaurant. We had great views out to see from our room, which was spacious, warm and clean.
