A forgotten gem

Novotel Lami can be easily overlooked for Suva commuters or hotel junkies. I have stayed in my fair share of properties including this hotel before it underwent its renovations. While i had an expectation, i thought it would be just an average stay, but this time, I was surprised...the service had improved, the rooms with an ocean view was excellent and the vibes were great. Food though could be better especially the breakfast buffet but the service made me forget the shortcomings. So Novotel is on my list for recommended Suva stays though its disdvantage is the distance from Nadi to Suva and the inconveniences of Suva being within eye sight but the rigors of beating traffic can slow you down. If I had to, I would stay on this property again...hands down.

整体满意,不足之处是:G层走廊有些潮湿霉味,房间内缺少一张办公桌(商务客人需要),前台部分服务人员结账流程不熟悉、效率提高些更好了。

I have reviewed this place before, and that review was a positive one too! This time, the chefs went all out, and gave me amazing gourmet meals. I only wanted to be sure I didn't have an allergic reaction, but instead I found myself enjoying every single meal, and relaxing so I could do my work well. I didn't have to worry about food! Thank you team for taking such good care of me!!!

I love to stay here ,this my favorite , room is fantastic but Food am sorry...I had worse food experiance there...order fish and chips ,pizza Oh my God. .full of cheese only and not cooked

Not really up to the Novotel standard, rooms were basic and clean, but some of the rooms are a long way from reception, restaurant meals were not to the cuisine you would expect from a Novotel, it was overrated and quite expensive for what you get. Except to pay over $100 per person for 3 courses plus a few drinks. During the time I was there, there was maintenance and renovation going on with the pool closed. Unfortunately, if you do not have your own transport and you have to stay in the hotel/room, there is nothing to do. The TV has limited Chanels and no in-house movies to pass the time. There is a positive, the staff are so very friendly and go about of their way to help you.
