My worst experience in a hotel!!!!! The receptionist (Sofia) has a stone face… didn’t even great me at all!!! I told her I have a hearing problem and kept telling me something about the WiFi in the room and I wasn’t able to hear and or understand what she was saying. I asked her to repeat it and she kept the voice very low! I asked for a manager and she reply there’s now right now! Sofia is a very rude person and doesn’t belong in the reception desk and so do is the man that was standing next to her!!! Also a man standing next to her identical attitude!!! The room is tiny to say the least! In the bathroom no shampoo, conditioner or any toiletries. Just a liquid soap. No hand towel. Never again staying in IBIS hotels!!! Shame on you!!!

This place is unacceptable! I stayed there with a Brazilian and a British business partner. We all shared the same opinion about the place. They advertise low rates outside and charge you 95$ inside. The interior is like a hostel with deteriorated furniture. The entrance is dirty and the breakfast is worse than a truck stop (i think most truck stops have better food) I hope the hotel is being marked as a location being avoided. The staff is not helpful and only speaks limited english at the front desk. It is a rip off.

We stayed for a night and it was awful. They gave us a room and it turns out the room was already occupied!!! No apology and no explanation. I definitely don’t recommend this hotel. Holiday inn is right across the street and has way better dependencies and nicer staff. Cheaper is not better!

The main plus point apart from being a comfortable hotel run by very friendly helpful staff is its proximity to the Mall Trebol via a pedestrian bridge over the dual carriageway where there is a food court and a host of shops. There are also restaurants nearby on the same side of the road which attracted varying reviews. It is close, 2 kms, to the airport but 5 kms out of town so probably the simplest way to get in and out, apart from getting a taxi, is to cross the bridge, go through the mall and catch a bus into town. There is a constant stream of buses which cost only 480 pesos. The main bus station Collao requires a change of bus at Maipu/Paicavi.

We’ve stayed here a few times and while it’s a reasonable place to stay for the weekend, it is getting a bit rundown and could do with some maintenance. We had to ask for a second bar of soap, another plastic glass and an extra towel. There isn’t much choice for breakfast in the area, so have to use their buffet. It’s ok for the price but certainly not the highlight of the hotel. Ask for a room on the opposite side of the highway; while the closed windows are really very good at reducing the sound, if you want an open window, you hear a lot of road noise.
