On the plus side: As always excellent location, right next to core bus hub, and close to metro & Lausanne shopping & old town area. Fully renovated, modern design Ibis rooms, super-friendly and efficient staff (incl. the trainee). Breakfast room nice, limited selection but what is available is of high quality, incl. real good coffee machines with freshly ground coffee. Bathroom format was, and continues to be highly efficient - good showers, great lightning, well designed to make most of space. Quiet rooms, good blind-out curtains. Regular, and sufficient hangers. Cofortable chair and desk. But one real downer: MUCH too warm room, with sealed windows: impossible to sleep with the provided thick duvets. In winter, AC seems switched to heating. This really impacted negatively my sleep, and stay. Matress quality itself is just OK - for many this will feel hard.

Stayed 4 nights for a short break in August. Hotel is very correct, strong 3 stars. Reception staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is clean. Breakfast is correct. You will find all what is needed for a full morning meal. Mini croissants et pains au chocolate sont absolument délicieux! And restaurant staff is also nice. In general, very good stay in the city, friendy people around.

Very nice located hotel. The reception area should be reviewed - the reception desk is very small and nearly hidden. There are some sofas for the guests to use, however it was not very well kept (untidy and a bit dirty). Everything else was very nice, from the room to the breakfast. Parking available with an extra fee. I would go back.

We stayed for 2 nights and as always, I am always satisfied with Ibis. Rooms were very clean, spotless. Staff were super. One thing that I did not like was only that we could not opened the window. We had no breakfast so I cannot judge it. Hotel is in town centre and also very easy to reach walking or either by bus or metro from Gare Central.

The cleanliness of the hotel is terribly poor. I found poo inside the toilet bowl which was horribly disgusting. The assistant manager's attitude was rude and arrogant. I complained to the Manager M. Guillemer who promised to compensate my horrible experience by refunding part of the unreasonably high rate I paid. However, after more than 20 correspondences over 2 months, nothing has been done and the compensation is only empty promise. A big shame and disgrace to the Management of Ibis hotel and the Accor Hotel Management Group! Besides the room is very small and the shower is weak. The breakfast is very basic and not worth he price
