On the positive side the hotel offers a Good location with parking right beside. Clean and comfortable. Due to unavoidable delays on route we didn't check in until 22:40. We had seen that the bar and restaurant closed at 23:00 but when we asked at reception we were told that it wasn't open. Told that the city centre wasn't far to walk. But we'd been travelling all day and didn't want to go out so late. The room advertised a mini bar but it was a small fridge with only a single bottle of water. We decided to go to find some food locally and passed many neighbouring hotels with lively bars still in full service. We also paid extra for a suite with a city view which we didn’t get. Room 103. I assume the city view rooms must be higher floors. On check out that we discovered a small shopping area in the reception area with drinks and snacks that the receptionist didn't tell us about. It's not very visible. The rooms are clean and good sized but are dated. The curtain between our suite from our child's bed was missing and some damages throughout. One major issue was the noise both from inside and out side the hotel. The windows are terrible. The sounds from cars and people sound as though a window is wide open. It kept me up most of the night and traffic was light. Inside the sound of chairs being dragged across Floors above reverberates through the room. All in all not a great night. The room had a terrible smell when I walked in. And there were ants in the bed and the bathroom. Breakfast was terrible with flys around the food. The only thing is that the location is good otherwise don’t bother waste your money.

Our room on the 5th floor with a view of the Mena Church had everything a traveller needed. Cleanliness and housekeeping unfaulted. Comfortable bed, sitting area, tea/coffee/fridge/microwave and toilettries provided is perfect for families as well as for business travellers.. The reception staff were attentive to our needs. The restaurant serves a buffet breakfasts and food on demand. Very centrally located for sightseeing purposes. All within walking distance. Most importantly at a pocket friendly price. We stayed for five nights.

Not sure this one could be suite or a Novotel.. leaky bathrooms made it worse

Pros: 1. Centrally located, right next to a quiet square off of center. Not the beach side but other side. 2. Rooms are spacious like any Novotel. Sheets were clean and pillows were comfortable. 3. Most of the staff member are friendly and helpful and always care to listen. 4. Gold member welcome amenity was a bottle of wine 5. Not all suite rooms come with a mini bar of drinks and coffee machine, only executive ones. But they did put a coffee maker and some drinks in the room which made this review slightly better else it was a complete disaster. 6. They provide mineral dinking water in the room which is fantastic as nearest shop to carry and bring water could be 10 mins by walk. Cons: 1. The rooms are very old and tattered and the hotel is not in any shape to be a Novotel. Much needed repairs in terms of layout of rooms as it's misleading, they aren't suites. not a 3/4 star by any means, c'mon your welcome desk is same as your bar. 2. Gold member upgrade which was given for one day was denied later, citing useless reasons. The person who checked me in was not the most kind/polite guy but rest of staff is super friendly. 3. Super small gym with next to none or broken equipment. 4. No pool/No sauna/No kids recreational area/No common sitting area which is quiet. 5. Bathroom walls had mould and the water was dripping from the ceiling and we didn't sleep the last night. On complaining the guy just smiled and said it's normal. How immature to answer this way. Curtains were stained, walls are dirty, toilet is a little room where my shoulder could touch side walls when standing 6. Hotel was priced at 165 euros per night after an ALL+Voyager membership discount. The guy at check-in had audacity to comment it's not a bad price, when I can book an extremely nice property non Accor right across the street at edge of old town. And none of the managers or anyone had the courtesy to reach out for any solutions. 7. I also did not receive any official link to make a review if they would I guess their real rating would be affected. I checked in on 17/10 and checked out on 19/10, I am sure they can easily locate me as the events cited are very specific, unless their each room has an AC leak like room 505. 8. Novotel's are also becoming cheap by offering beer/wine/cola for welcome drinks like IBIS but I guess they are with IBIS budget so they are having same policies which is a shame to be spending so much money for nothing. 330 is probably one person's weekly salary at this hotel. I mean the front desk guy who gave me an orange juice, gave me small tapas by saying this we do not give with welcome drinks. I mean really? I have been to so many Novotel's which always bring a snack out with the drink, at least some peanuts. Last but not least avoid this place if you can find a cheaper IBIS next to it because they are going to not provide the facilities. But all the other staff except the chef in dude was super kind and friendly and went out of their way to make my stay a bit better. I think once renovated this hotel has a lot of potential and not broken and damaged rooms will make guests happy to pay whatever their price is. Also they really need to up their game to be worth the money at all.
