I stayed at this hotel and overall, the experience was pleasant. The rooms were clean and well-organized, with clear attention to detail. The cleanliness was excellent, the furniture in good condition, and the décor was simple and relaxing. The view from the room was beautiful and added a sense of calm during the stay. The place is generally quiet during the day and offers a good level of privacy. However, an important issue is that the hotel seems to regularly host weddings and parties, especially on weekends. At night, it was difficult to sleep due to loud music and noise continuing until late hours. If your goal is to relax or sleep early, this could be a problem. But if you don’t mind some late-night noise, the rest of the experience is excellent and worth repeating. أقمت في هذا الفندق وكانت التجربة مريحة بشكل عام. الغرف نظيفة ومرتبة، والاهتمام بالتفاصيل واضح. مستوى النظافة ممتاز، والأثاث في حالة جيدة، والديكور بسيط ومريح. الإطلالة من الغرفة كانت جميلة جدًا وتضيف راحة نفسية عند الإقامة. المكان بشكل عام هادئ في النهار، ويعطي شعورًا بالخصوصية. لكن الملاحظة المهمة هي أن الفندق يبدو أنه يستضيف أعراس وحفلات بشكل متكرر، خاصة في عطلات نهاية الأسبوع. خلال فترة الليل، كان من الصعب النوم بسبب ارتفاع الصوت واستمرار الموسيقى حتى ساعات متأخرة. لو كان الهدف من الإقامة هو الراحة أو النوم المبكر، قد تكون هذه نقطة مزعجة. أما إن كنت لا تمانع بعض الإزعاج الليلي، فباقي التجربة ممتازة وتستحق التكرار.

As a loyal Accor guest (not anymore after this experienc), I am beyond shocked that Novotel Trabzon is allowed to operate under the Accor name. This was not just disappointing — it was an insult to guests and an embarrassment to the Accor brand. Hands down one of the WORST hotel stays of my life. The location is far, inconvenient, and misleading. The rooms look NOTHING like the photos on Booking.com or even Accor’s own site. What we got was a run-down, outdated room that felt more like a neglected roadside motel than an international hotel. The check-in staff were a disgrace. Rude, unwelcoming, and downright hostile. I actually felt uncomfortable even approaching them for help — imagine being made to feel like a burden when you’ve paid for a stay. Housekeeping? Nonexistent. The room was left dirty, a filthy cleaning cloth was abandoned inside, the bed sheets weren’t changed, and they simply tightened wrinkled old sheets like we wouldn’t notice. DISGUSTING. Towels were TORN. Yes, in a supposed 5-star hotel, we were given ripped towels. I’ve stayed at budget hostels cleaner and more professional than this. The swimming pool rules were laughable. No entry without a swim cap, and if you don’t have one, they force you to buy it. My boyfriend is BALD — yet they still tried to charge us. That’s not policy, that’s a scam. Power sockets by the bed were dead. We reported it, and guess what? Nobody bothered. A whole day passed with zero follow-up. The reception staff — both men and the morning lady — were some of the rudest hotel employees I’ve ever encountered. Their attitude screamed that guests are an inconvenience, not customers. Breakfast was a complete disaster. The same low-quality food every single morning with no effort to offer variety. Bland, repetitive, and pathetic for a hotel flying the Accor flag. The property overall is unkept, unhygienic, and depressing. Just stepping into the broken-down lift gives you a warning of how miserable the rest of your stay will be. This place is a disgrace to the Accor brand and should be stripped of the Novotel name immediately. I will NEVER return, and I strongly advise others to stay away unless you want to ruin your trip.

The hotel, although advertised as a 5-star property, is in reality not a 5-star hotel. The rooms do not look or feel like those of a true 5-star hotel. The manager is very rude and uncooperative. I was given a room where the surrounding rooms made unbelievable noise. I complained, and they offered me a smoking room, which I cannot stay in due to my sinusitis issues. Then they showed me a room on the first floor that did not meet the features I paid for. It was unbelievable. While the staff are helpful, the managers' attitude was unacceptable. I requested a full refund, but the managers did not even try to help or resolve the issue. The noise is unbearable. I had booked a 2-night stay at this hotel, but I will not stay—even without a refund—because it is simply unacceptable to stay in such a hotel. The rooms are not clean. Attached are some examples.

We didn't like the hotel at all, in the booking we indicated that there would be four adults and one child, we were given two rooms only for four, we called the reception twice, we went there twice, but no one did anything. There is no hot water in the shower, the rooms are dusty, old, the air conditioner almost doesn't work, upon arrival no one even showed us to the room, there are no brushes, no robes or anything else in the room. There is not a big choice for breakfast. In the evening we wanted to go to the pool, but we need swimming caps for it. No one warned us that we needed them, we had to buy them for 100 lira here. I don't know where the 5 stars came from, I think two stars are extra.

We have done the necessary research on the situation you mentioned, but I should point out that since your reservation is for 4 adults and 1 child, there are 2 rooms in each room, 1 large bed and 1 sofa bed, and the room has been allocated according to the number of people. During check-in, it was stated that our rooms do not have 3 separate beds and your approval has been received. And after you checked in, your sofa bed was opened by our staff. We would like to state that the reason for the low number of products we leave in our rooms as standard is to minimize the footprint we leave on nature. In addition, if you have any needs, you can contact the reception and the product you need has been left in your room by the housekeeping and renewed daily. It is mandatory to wear a swimming cap in the indoor pool due to hygiene standards. If necessary, you can buy a swimming cap from the spa center.
