Novotel needs to train staff about hospitality

If one needs to learn about 5star hospitality then this property is an institution because it teaches you everything "What not to do". No one smiles (receptionist, restaurant, room cleaning staff). I saw poor reviews related to this but thought it would have been a personal feedback but the service in this hotel is pathetic. Offcourse speaking English is not common in Trabzon but people outside in general are so nice and polite that they make an effort to help you and keep smiling and trying. To make things worse we are Vegetarians and to explain that to this 5star staff is to invite their rude stare "then why did you come here". Starts with the guy at the reception and the trainee and the bell boy (who stops in the room after getting luggage imploring you and almost threatening you for a Tip). I asked the trainee to show me an executive room and he says that we will give you the price difference and if you like it we will show you the room. The receptionist is a street smart alec who without speaking tells you that you better stay in the room that you have booked because you dont look the type who wants a sea side view. I changed to Ramada for additional 2 nights and thank god for it. Novotel needs to get their act together if they care for their brand. Why should smiling be such an arduous difficult task ???

الفندق حلو ونظيف والبوفيه جدآ لذيذ والأجمل الموظفه بشرى جدآ راقيه في التعامل ومن تركيا وبتتكلم لغه عربيه . The hotel is nice and clean, the buffet is very tasty, and the most beautiful employee is Bushra, who is very elegant in dealing and from Turkey and speaks Arabic.

Worst experience ever , we had booked a room with three single beds and they gave us a double room with an extra bed noting that it was our request since we’ve done our reservation!! Room is very small and had no view!! Tried to contact them many times and no-one changed the beds or the room or even tried to make us satisfied!!! We surly wont look for this stay in future or deal with the tourism company “ Refan” ✖️✖️✖️

Dear Guest, welcome to novtel trabzon, you felt uncomfortable. I have to say about the subject that our hotel allocates rooms according to how your reservation was made. I always stay in this hotel .The location excellent there is mall only steps from the hotel . The room is clean and all what I need is there . The breakfast very good . The staff very helpfull. safe trip for all . Ali Alkhuder from Kuwait.
