Location of this hotel is just opposite Tentram hotel & mall in the heart of Semarang. Seems that this hotel is quite outdated and poorly equipped. We found out during shower that they forgot to fill the soap bottle. The lighting in the room was a bit annoying, some were warm white while some were super white, suggest to change all to warm white to give the room a better ambient. Sleeping quality was just ok... hope they are able to do some small renovations and pay attention to details to become a better product in the future.

Het meest vieze Ibis hotel dat ik ooit heb gezien, verschrikkelijk. Maar het hotel ligt heel centraal ( als troost)

Zeer centraal gelegen. Vriendelijk personeel. Hotel is 15 jaar oud ( Ik was destijds bij de opening !) Het meest vieze Ibis hotel nu waar ik ooit in heb verbleven. Ook na klacht over de vieze badkamer heeft de extra schoonmaakbeurt die ze toen gaven alleen een paar haren minder opgeleverd; de badkamer bleef onverminderd vies... en dat is zacht uitgedrukt ( uitwerpselen aan de muur!!) Nieuwe kamer gekregen en eerste indruk was beter. Maar bij het douchen kwam de schimmel en de viezigheid duidelijk zichtbaar naar voren. Ontbijtzaal idem dito. Vies, smerig zelfs. Broodrooster was electrisch een gevaar, werkte maar voor 2 boterhammen ( terwijl er 6 in kunnen), glazen waren vies, eerste twee borden die ik pakte waren vies. Mijn verblijf van 4 nachten ingekort tot 1 nacht in de vieze kamer en ander hotel gezocht. Personeel uitermate vriendelijk en begrijpend maar de duty manager op 29 juni kwam niet verder dan "Sorry Sir" ... bedroevend. Accor Indonesië, met geweldige hotels, zou bij haar vestiging Ibis Simpang Lima in Semarang echt moeten ingrijpen.

Great stay selama menginap di Ibis Semarang Simpang Lima, Kamarnya Luas dan Fasilitasnya juga Oke Bangett Fast Check in dan Check out oleh Front Office, Semua Staff Helpfull and Cheersfull Makanya juga enak enak nggak ada kendala sama sekai Pokoknya best Banget

Saya pernah menginap disini, tapi baru kali ini pengalaman buruk terjadi. Proses check in lama karena antre dan staff hanya satu. Saya booking non smoking tapi justru diberi kamar smoking. Sewaktu saya masuk ternyata saya SESAK NAFAS dan nyaris pingsan. Saya coba komplain ke manager-nya tapi tetap tidak ada solusi. Akhirnya saya tidak jadi menginap dan mesti pindah ke hotel lain tanpa kompensasi apapun. Saran saya untuk NON SMOKER jangan menginap di hotel ini karena kamarnya SANGAT BAU ROKOK dan pelayanan staff serta manajernya sangat BURUK kepada tamu. Banyak hotel di sekitar yang lebih bagus dengan harga yang mirip. Saya pindah ke Louis Keane dan sangat puas. Hotel seperti Ibis Simpang Lima ini tidak memperhatikan kesehatan tamu dan pelayanannya sangat tidak profesional. Seumur hidup saya tidak akan menginap di Ibis Hotel lagi dan akan stop membership Accor saya.

Family Friendly Hotel! I brought my family to Semarang for wedding event. In total there were 7 to 8 rooms booked in Ibis. Booking was kinda hectic for me. I was booked the rooms using accors web and traveloka. Room booking was separately. I requested some rooms to be connected. And all 7 rooms in the same floor for entire family! And they managed to did that! Room was excellent, twin and king bed were given accordingly! Extra coffee sachet also were given to my family! Breakfast was also no complaint! Location is walking distance to Iconic Simpang Lima! Perfect! Thank you for Ibis Team for accomodate my request and made my family staying wonderful! Special thanks to lady at receptionist at May, 4th, she was really helpful! Will stay here again for short big family trip to Semarang!
