Great overall experience, and great impression made by Timur(Front of house manager) always ready to listen to a guest constructive feedback with very professional and friendly attitude, outstanding I must say for all service I have experienced in Kazan in general. Minus was the bar staff never at the bar for the guests and some other little minuses which are not experience changing at all. Nice and clean rooms equipped with all that you might need! Thank you Timur and also the lady that checked in was kind too. See you again!

I travelled with my wife and 5 year old kid. Very small and cramped up room size. Not recommended for family. Ideal for solo travellers. Good location. Near to Baumana street. Friendly and helpful staff. 15 min walk to kremlin.

Everything was excellent - personal, breakfast, rooms. The hotel is located not far from the city center, everything can be reached by foot. I am fully satisfied. Also very good and cheap dinner, very good that you do not need to book it in advance.

Upon arrival, we felt as if we were expected and made to feel welcome and check-in was pleasant and quick. By co-incidence, Anastasiya was on duty at reception and she made us feel valued guests and most sincerely welcome. Anastasiya had been most helpful over several months prior to our arrival, when assisting with my inquiries to the hotel regarding transport to Kazan and without her help in going beyond her duties, we probably would not have got to visit the wonderful city of Kazan for 4 nights. Throughout our stay she and all reception staff were friendly, polite, found the time to greet us as we walked past and were extremely helpful. Confirming other reviewers, the hotel is in a great central location and close to everything. The hotel appeared to have had hard use as it was “rough around the edges” and could do with some renovation. The bed was comfortable. During our stay, we had cold weather ( it snowed with temps of 2C ) but there was no heating in the room turned on ( apparently by the city authorities ) or enough portable heaters available for guests. The room was cold. Ibis policy on complimentary water only for new arrivals became an issue ( 4 night stay ) when we asked for some water for our room. Breakfast was OK – it was plain and adequate. Clearing of tables was slow. Security staff highly visible was comforting. Ibis preferred taxis very reasonably priced and punctual. Hotel looked dark at nigh-time from outside and ibis sign not very visible. This ibis hotel, relative to other ibis and Accor hotels in other cities of Russia is not one of the better hotels and it is a little expensive by comparison. We expected more. However, we did enjoy our stay there, the reception staff offered hospitality plus!

Great for late arrival

I had a 1am flight arrival and they have 24 hour check in and airport pickup. Taxi was 1000 Rub + 200 Rub for airport parking ($24 Cad) which is reasonable given 2am pickup by the time I exited airport. Staff was available at this time and spoke good English. Room was nice and comfortable, choice of cooked breakfasts in morning. Close to train station easy walk to Kremlin and all sights. Tourist maps and souvenirs in lobby. I would definitely consider again when returning to Kazan. Luggage storage also available.
