Ideal for exploring The Somme battlefields.

We stayed one night as part of a tour of WW1 battlefields, and this hotel ticked the boxes and a bit more. On the outskirts of Albert, the location is good for those with a vehicle, with ample free parking and a short 5 minute drive into the centre of Albert. It's clearly walkable, but time was against us. Check-in was quick with friendly reception staff and the allocated room on the 2nd floor, allowing for a comfortable good night sleep. The room was equipped with aircon, access to WiFi, large tv (I didn't find English language channels) with a decent sized modular en-suite large shower. The hotel had a reasonably priced bar (the locally brewed beer is recommended), and I really liked the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner, which was good value and of a high standard. Accepting it is a chain hotel, it had a personnel touch and is recommended for touring the area.

We stayed here for 4 nights on a Battlefield tour and it was a standard Ibis hotel but the room was clean and comfortable.It was a continental breakfast with a good selection and we had 2 x 3 course evening meals included which was delicious All the staff were friendly and so welcoming.Thanks to you all.

Great hotel. Staff are amazing. Very helpful. Beds comfy. Rooms are basic but functional. No kettle in room but staff filled our flask up just buy teabags at supermarket. Food good. Drinks a bit pricey but is a hotel. In great location for battlefield tours. 2nd time staying and will be coming back again and again.

A great place to stay if you are exploring the battlefields of the Somme. The surrounding countryside is full of British Commonwealth cemeteries, with Bapaume Post Military Cemetery just right next to this hotel. Also nearby are the La Boisselle Crater, Thiepval Memorial, Fricourt German Cemetery and Mametz Wood, all within 10km from the hotel. The town of Albert is also home to the Somme 1916 museum.

Best Ibis I ever stayed in. Clean rooms, nice breakfast and for an Ibis Hotel a more than acceptable price - quality ratio restaurant. People are nice, perfect for business sleepover . Really nice staff!. Hotel has several EV chargers of max 11 KW.
