Ideal for exploring The Somme battlefields.

We stayed one night as part of a tour of WW1 battlefields, and this hotel ticked the boxes and a bit more. On the outskirts of Albert, the location is good for those with a vehicle, with ample free parking and a short 5 minute drive into the centre of Albert. It's clearly walkable, but time was against us. Check-in was quick with friendly reception staff and the allocated room on the 2nd floor, allowing for a comfortable good night sleep. The room was equipped with aircon, access to WiFi, large tv (I didn't find English language channels) with a decent sized modular en-suite large shower. The hotel had a reasonably priced bar (the locally brewed beer is recommended), and I really liked the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner, which was good value and of a high standard. Accepting it is a chain hotel, it had a personnel touch and is recommended for touring the area.

We stayed here for 4 nights on a Battlefield tour and it was a standard Ibis hotel but the room was clean and comfortable.It was a continental breakfast with a good selection and we had 2 x 3 course evening meals included which was delicious All the staff were friendly and so welcoming.Thanks to you all.

Très bon hôtel bien qu'il soit situé dans une zone industrielle. Impeccablement propre, et servi par une équipe de personnel sympathique et respectueux des clients. Restaurant très correct avec vraie cuisine le soir. Parking bien fait. Je recommande totalement, notamment pour tous les touristes qui visitent les sites de la 1ere guerre mondiale.

Prettig hotel waar veel vaste gasten terug komen.

Super fijn hotel, de kamer, douche en toilet prima. Er is geen stopcontact naast de bedden. Personeel is op alle fronten attent en behulpzaam. Je kunt lopen naar t centrum ca. 20 minuten.In de buurt zitten supermarkten en een Boulanger waar je brood, pizza's, salades en gebak kunt halen.
