Unreasonable deductions, very bad experience

The hotel service attitude is very poor, deducting money at will, the overall experience is very bad !!! I booked this hotel on October 3rd and 4th. The hotel called me before I checked in and told me that I was not feeling well (I was still seeing a doctor that day) and might not be able to check in. The hotel said ok, hope I get well soon, and colleagues will follow up later. I think the hotel will help me cancel the reservation. But this is not the case. The hotel did not help me cancel the reservation, nor did they contact me on October 3rd. They just deducted the money from me. I only found out about this when I checked my credit card bill yesterday. The hotel made the following mistakes. 1. The hotel said it would record my physical discomfort, but it did not record it and did not follow up. 2. The hotel did not follow up on the day when it did not find out that I checked in. 3. The hotel even issued a full room notice on the day. If I did not check in, how could it be full? Is it deceiving consumers? Based on the above reasons, I ask the group to investigate this matter and criticize and educate the people involved. This is not an ordinary hotel, but a Sofitel hotel. There should be high-quality services here, not such a bad experience. I hope to get an apology and refund from the hotel as soon as possible.

It is wonderful hotel with high quality. The breakfast and dinner all very delicious. The room is very big and beautiful. the bed is comfort. The wash room is luxe.The reception are friendly. The location is closed Metro station and the bus station. The executive lounge is nice deco and service very good. I hope to stay again when I visit Nanjing.

The hotel has lowered the standard of the Sofitel brand.

I had a very unpleasant stay. I booked a room with Accor membership benefits and confirmed with customer service in advance that it would qualify for official points. At check-in, I also confirmed with the front desk, who assured me that my membership number was in the system, that my room had been upgraded, and that I was given breakfast for two. However, more than a week after checking out, despite several communications with the hotel, the response varied. Sometimes they said there were official points and that they would add them later, and other times they claimed there were none, saying it was a non-official booking. This clearly seems to be an issue between Accor's official booking system and the hotel, but the burden ultimately fell on me, the guest. It was very disappointing.

Clearly this hotel has its better days. At present, it is not quite the expected Sofitel standard. That said, it’s rather cheap. My host arranged the booking, and I was glad that the hotel had given me a room upgrade. The room was spacious, but its air conditioning wasn’t working well. Location is a concern. Most of the shops and restaurants nearby were for the locals. If you think it isn’t too far away from Intercontinental, I tried and it’s about 10 minutes’ walk. Breakfast was OK. Would like to see a better spread.

This is a terrible hotel because of its poor management. The front desk couldn't communicate in English, not even a manager or director. No one helped us with our luggage and the front desk was extremely rude. Makes us feel confused. She has a large restaurant with rich food. The restaurant staff are obviously more professional. Although the management here has made the lobby very nice, the rooms look very dated, like a local three-star hotel. I don't really want to recommend it.
